I've often wondered if this is strictly a Canadian tradition -one with which I whole-heartedy agree and enjoy. Are we the only country that does this? Nov.11 is Rememberance day in Canada, lest we forget

I believe that the 1st big battle of WW1 where thousands were killed {Flander's Field in Belguim} there were hundreds of poppies growning in the field so hence we have poppies
