A couple had been married 10 years. One afternoon, they were working in the garden together. As the wife was bending over pulling weeds, the husband said... ''Hey honey, you're getting fat. Your butt is huge. I'll bet it's as wide as the gas grill.'' Feeling the need to prove his point, he got out a yard stick and measured the grill, then his wife's butt. ''Yep,'' he said,'' just what I thought, just about the same size.'' The wife became mad and left him gardening alone. She went inside the house and didn't speak to him for the rest of the day.
When they retired to bed that evening, the husband cuddled up to his wife and said, ''How about it, honey? How about a little lovemaking?'' The wife turned her back to him, giving him the cold shoulder. ''What's the matter?'' he asked. She replied... ''You don't think I'm going to fire up this big A$$ grill for one little weenie, do you?''

I am aware there is such thing as cultural beauty. I want to know how people from other cultures are attracted to eachother. I am from the USA so I know how things go here. For example, most Americans are not attracted to women that don't shave but other countries find it to be attractive. Most Africans are attracted to piercings and faces stretched when others think it is weird. So wether you're gay or straight I'd really value your opinion. Also, please state what your culture is so I understand where you're coming from.

Under what circumstances can talking behind someone's back be justified? What happens if I'm scared of telling someone the truth, because it can hurt their feelings, then is it okay? Or is it never okay, no matter what?

I have an active runner that likes to run back and forth in my yard (medium sized yard) and likes to jump up on fences or crates, etc. I think he pulled his tendon in his front left leg just above his elbow joint (about 2 inches above the joint is where he feels the pain most). Nothing seems dislocated and he still uses it to run or walk on though he is limping. IS a torn or overstretched tendon something that fixes itself in time or are other measures necessary?

My daughter just moved over to the KinderCare 3 yr old pre-school room. My son will move there in 1.5 yrs. We are evaluating whether we should keep them there until PK or K or move them to another PK facility or even montessori. We in Germantown, Maryland.

Does anyone have any experience with their kids in KinderCare's 3,4,5 yr old rooms (PK and K)? Do you think they were well prepared for school; did you like Montessori better; would you do it again?

Just trying to evaluate other options.

I'm Brazilan (as one can see) living in Brazil and I tell you that it is very rare finding here around people of different gender which are close friends.

In your culture (European, first world, Christian, modern days) today, is that common/possible?

Let me tell you that here in Br we, generally speaking, see a man (when he has girl close friends) as to be gay, you know. That's too bad, I know that! Or when there is a case such this, one is interested in the other lovingly...
