Options to turn off? Add more ram?
I hear the new Netscape loads a lot faster??????

Click on Tools, choose Internet Options. Under the General Tab, Browsing History, pick Delete, and choose Delete Temporary Internet Files. Then choose Settings. Another Box will appear, Temporary Internet Files and History Settings. Under Disk Space to Use, set it to a low number, like 25. Under number of days to keep pages in history, cut it down to maybe 2 or 3. Hit OK, and the first window. You have too much clutter and that is what is slowing IE 7 down when loading.

That's the trade-off for all those features I'm afraid. If you want to keep a fast browser handy for speed surfing try Firefox. It's Netscape before Netscape loads it up with speed-leeching features.
Full-featured browsing has it's charms, but sometimes you just want to get to the info!

Turn off phishing filter.
Tools > Phishing Filter > Turn Off Automatic website checking > Turn Off Automatic Phishing Filter .
Click ok.

Rather not.I use AOL explorers and firefox explorers and Avant Browser
