im an afterschool care leader that recently transferred to another school and now instead of 5th graders i have 2nd graders to look after.
unfortunately, they had a after care leader that let them do whatever they want. tomorrow is my first day alone with them and i would like to set some rules....what are good ideas for getting them quiet during hw time?

for example:

flicker the lights on and off...

etc...

any ideas?

Let me get my cartilage pierced, my dad is like "eh..whatever talk to your mom, if is ok with her its ok with me" but my mom is the one that needs more convincing
tomorrow my little sister is getting her second ear piercing( the double one, right above her first) and i dont even have that.
but my sis said to ask my mom about my cartilage...does anyone have any ideas on how i can get her to say yes

How come I have allergies to certain types of seafood..especially when it is fried? I can't eat shrimp or any type of shellfish..it aggravates my throat. I can eat baked catfish..and I can eat fried oysters. I don't get it. It's really weird.

Okay so I keep hearing about Britney popping up on Letterman... and how fabulous she looked etc. Well I saw her surprise visit to Letterman last night on Extra and to be totally honest she looks like CRAP!!!!! She has aged and just looks awful, and NO I’m not being a hater because I actually love Brit and I use to think she was incredibly beautiful... I just don’t understand why everyone is commenting on how great she looks... is it because she lost weight??? Well... loosing weight doesn’t always make someone look hot again and I guess ol' Brit is a prime example of that.... So here's my question to all who actually saw her on Letterman, what do you think of ol' Brit now? After K-fed, the kids, the bad parenting??

Come on the bible as some christians suggest was not written for christians it was written for (man) It is a wonderful book to understand the principles, but it has many metaphorical meanings that cant be taken literally. God is not yours alone, but yet you say he is. If you dont believe in sin, and if you dont repent, or if your not married to someone. If you dont do this, then you are not saved, and you will never see heaven. Why because god told you that, or is that what you have been taught? Give other people room to grow into god. You chain god up and put him in a cage as if it is yours alone, and tell others if you challenge this then it is a false god you believe in. Why isnt it easy to accept that god is in each and every one of us, and that we are connected because of the same source that gives us life and meaning. Not once did I hear the word Christians mentioned in the bible, but I heard man, as in everyone. Why do you make such seperations?
