how can i get a list of marriage license applicants in mi ?

i need to find someone that just got married around the detroit area

The courthouse keeps all records of marriage applicants - usually in books. The clerk will have an index noting which book a person's name appears in.

I'm not even sure if they will let you find out that information. I live around the detroit are but I've been married for 2 1/2 years now so I don't think I would be much help for you. I would check at the city/county building downtown. Thats where all of those records are kept.

Go to the court house in that area and look them up!
