My guinea pig is 1 year old now. He is terrific! I hold him almost every day. He has always let me hold him for about 20 minutes. When he is ready to go back into his cage or needs to pee or poop, he will climb to my chin and nip at my chin or low lip. After a month of having him I figured this out. I put him back and all if fine. That's when I usually give him a carrot. The past 3 weeks, he will sit on my lap or up by my neck for about 10 minutes and then he will jump from me onto the couch or try to jump over the back of the couch. I have let him walk on the couch but not on the floor without having the fence up so he can't get to wires. Every time I hold him now, he jumps off of me and will be very persistent about it. I am wondering if he is doing this because he is older and doesn't want to be held anymore or as much. Or he is wanting more 'run around time' on the floor. or just doesn't like me anymore.

Does anyone have suggestions or thoughts on this?

for example: i have a tip to polish youe silver jewellry without rubbing
put them in a bowl with boiling water,salt,baking soda and pieces of silver foil for a few minutes

I am spending it alone, my daughter isn't coming over and I really have no friends. I am off from work today and have the day but have no money to spend to go out or anything. I just feel so depressed and I didn't get any presents. I used to enjoy my birthdays when I was with my family but our relationship is strained and I don't see much of them anymore. I have been in tears all day and just want the day to be over.

There's going to be a kids for kids show where kids go up and perform something, and the money raised by the show goes to a hospital for kids, and i wanted to do a song. but, I don't know which one to do. Hello,
I have a reception to attend in a couple of weeks. The couple had a civil union marriage a few months back and are now having the reception. It is 3 hours, at wedding/banquet place, just appetizers and open bar. They are not registered anywhere. They have been together for about 15 years and also living together for about the same.
