I just don't think that the horses are fast enough to catch criminals in a high speed chase.

Which part of Canada have you been to buddy. That is a pretty ignorant statement to make. The police use regular cruisers just like you do in the States! The horses may get used when parades are held, but that's about it! And for the record, I've never seen a Mounty Police officer! We have normal officers in police uniforms. There are so many stereotypes regarding Canada. It's annoying. I love Toronto. Take some time to learn. It's a great city!

Yes they drive cars, they had to when their rocket powered horse packs ignited the poor creatures in flames.
Seriously though, canada has much fewer high speed chases than america and europe, they just dont chase after people and risk the lives and safety of all involved, unlike their maverick america counter parts.
Plus, they have like no highways and few cities. No one cares if you speed away, you'll probably end up hitting a moose and dying anyway. ;P

Stereotypes! Sometimes I laugh when I see a police car doing a U turn , burning a red lite, and then giving a ticket for it to the person being chased...

however many of them still like to walk as it is less confusing and you don't have to clean up after them (as you do horsies)
