I failed twice. It feels pretty poo, but after a while you accept there was a reason why you failed. Best plan is to get back on the horse, and take the test again as soon as possible!
Good luck!

Do not feel badly. I admire a tester who has the courage to tell a person taking the test that they are not ready to be on the road with all the traffic. Just think to yourself that the tester does not think you are ready and therefore may have saved your life.
I am sure you would rather take the test another time ( or even maybe more) and be still alive. At least you know you will be prepared for whatever happens on the road and you should not be the cause of any accidents either... Good luck to you. Practice lots so you will be more confident next time....

3!!!!! First, my driving instructor was partially deaf and I was so on edge, I cried my eyes out after and was really gutted. Second, I thought I did quite well, the reason I failed was because I pulled out too early on a roundabout (apparently!!). Third time round I really thought I had failed again, I drove over a basket and it got stuck to the bottom of the car, I was unable to stop so it rattled for about 5 mins. Then when I could pull over the examiner had to get out and crawl around on the floor trying to get it off. But it turns out I passed.
Dont give up, keep trying, the test is hard but it's all about your luck on the day!! x

It was on my third attempt I passed my driving test, failed for silly reasons and I probably do dam site worse things now.
I don't know anybody that drives the way the were taught to and you will be no exception I bet, but you will pass in time and it don't matter how many times it takes as long as your a safe driver at the end of it.
Keep at it and GOOD LUCK for next time

I failed my first attempt because I looked forward as I straightened the car up after a parallel park and likewise on the reverse around the corner...I know how you feel because I felt like cr*p and didn't drive again for ages. Don't do like I've done and leave it for ages - book it again asap! I did eventually re-start lessons and am taking my second attempt at passing in a month or so...here's good fortune to both you and me! :-)

I passed first time...
This was back in 1968 and I made sure that I drove well enough to pass because I knew I could not afford many more lessons and I also had a damn good instructor who made sure I was ready for the test before she put me in for it... and she certainly had a novel way of making sure I checked my mirrors and did my maneuvers correctly....
She would hit me on the back of my hand with a ruler if I got it wrong!
I passed after ten lessons!

The first time I failed because I couldn't parallel park; the second time I failed because I didn't didn't swivel my head around to back up. Finally passed it on the third try. (I never made those mistakes again!) Don't worry - you'll pass.

I passed first time, God knows how!
It may have been the tight trousers and high heels and low cut top that did it but I can't be sure... ;-)

A little tip, pretend that the examiner is a friend who is showing you the way to his / her house and get it into your mind that you have already passed. A little psychology works wonders, it works trust me

Pssst, while i replaced into 17-19, I did a entire of 13 sensible tests for the vehicle. Yeah, giggle it up, 13 sounds a lot, yet i replaced into away at boarding college, so i had greater than a number of distinctive instructors and attempt centers, extensive gaps between training and and tests, no suited shape to my gaining awareness of tocontinual, no motor vehicle to prepare in with my mum and dad or something like that, particularly. did no longer get to renowned a community until eventually now the attempt, you realize? First: somebody crashed into me, attempt annulled. 2nd: rushing 0.33: Undue Hesitation Fourth: too many minor faults 5th: Undue Hesitation 6th: rushing seventh: opposite right into a highway (up a hill) eighth: crossed my hands three times in steerage (too many minors) 9th: Raining a lot, residing house windows fogged, I asked the examiner to sparkling so i ought to make certain out of the window in the back of him, he does no longer, so i finished the vehicle and have been given out, wiped it myself, and persisted. curiously you at the instant are not meant to get out of the vehicle. yet i could no longer accurately do the maneuvre. tenth: Parallel Parking eleventh: undue hesitation twelfth:too many minor faults. thirteenth: too many minor faults. I gave up, devastated extraordinarily at how a lot it had value me, and that i realised i individually hated automobiles and making use of them, and that i vowed never to difficulty. So I have been given a bike, did a CBT, and sturdy to decide for 2 years. did my finished bike attempt at 21 exceeded first time. did my motor vehicle attempt at 23 making use of BSM. undergone relatively as I had found out a lot from being on a bike for for this reason long.
