...and the next joint up my finger... and my wrists... and my knees... and my ankles sometimes... and my toes... and my back! How do I stop??? Everything except the fingers I can stop generally but I don't even notice I'm cracking my fingers, and it feels so much better when they click! I'm told it's bad for you... I've been doing it about 12 years and just don't know how to stop it! Anybody managed to give it up? I need help!

My brother lost his job and was without work for a few weeks, now he has a job that pays less than his previous. He is behind for Oct and Nov rent adn they are evicting him and his 2 boys (ages 4,7) but yet he is still responsible for paying the rent until his lease is up in August 07, which will be impossible for him to pay 2 rents when he finds another place. Do you know of any organizaiton that would help him get caught up in Akron, OH?? Thanks

As a Brit I don't get why people in the US are so against taxes. We pay higher tax than in the US but we also have a completely free (and rather good) public health system, a good social security safety net, pretty good public transport, a cracking public education system and loads more.

In Sweden they pay more tax than we do and their education is the best in the world, as is their social security system AND they all get free child care.

Could some US residents please explain why in America taxes are considered bad?

Just a few minutes ago I was in gradual satisfaction, consuming 5 aged cheese-its that I found under the couch. I was saving them for Grams arriving in a few days. All of the sudden I heard a primal bellow from the pantry. I hauled over toward the imperfect pitch of sound. I try to open the pantry door but it would not budge. I catapulted several antique machetes at the contraption. Before I know it there is a mammoth sized crater in the door. I see gramp’s expired corpse in the depths of the pantry corner with can of peas and carrots lodges in his mangles esophagus. I observe him gasping for air as machetes are installed in his bruised left jugular. It was an eyesore of a corpse. What should I do?

i know her for 5 years. i use to hangout with her all the time. in college outside the college and almost all the time, people were thinking that we are in a relationship, but it was noting more than a friendship. 1 day she asked me if i like her and i said yes as a friend. after that she started acting strange all the sudden, and she stoped calling me and stoped spending time with me, when i asked her what is wrong she said she is busy with school. I told her that it is fine and I really understand her situation. any ways i stoped calling her and stoped spending time with her as she wanted me or as she was showing. after a month she called me the other day but I was at work so I couldn't pick up the phone, next day I called her but she did not pick up her phone. Today I saw her at school, she looked so sad and upset, and she was harldly talking to me. I walked her to her class and she was quite and she was not talking. why is she acting stupid? what should i do?

Here goes....I love her, now please dont say I'm crazy until my story is over..
Over the summer, I liked her. we seemed to talk all the time, and flirt like crazy. well she kinda backed off, and I kinda smothered her a little bit...so I gave it a while and asked her how she felt.....she said she didnt like me like that...but... a month later...she emailed me..and told me that she was really sad..cuz our friendship wastn wat it used to be ( we've been friends since age 7).. I told her it was just hard for me to get over her.....but I was working on it..and things got better, and we seem to be good friends again..but theres one problem..I love her....I just cant get over her.... I mean I want her to be happy, and if she is thats great..but, she's a huge flirt, ..and it just kills me to see her with these other guys all the time....

but a couple of things she has said confuse me. when she said she wants our friendship back....she was talking about me moving on and getting a gf......that if I get rejected ..the reason is probably stupid.....and she also said her reason was probably stupid... but the she goes and flirts with these other guys...and I just dont want her to be a **** or sumthing...that would kill me more than anything..I am afraid to get close to anyone else, becuz I'm afraid that this wiill happen again.....and plus..well idk..i love everything about her..her smile, the way she laughs....everything..I know this isnt just another crush..cuz i have had many of those....and this isnt one of those...is there anything i can do?? please help?

My wine has been at a constant 72 degrees fr 6 weeks now under a blanket. I have not racked the wine yet and I see sediment on bottom of my carboy. Will racking the wine kickstart the fermenting process again? This is my first time making wine so I'm open to suggestions.
