What is it about Christians that make some people dislike and judge them? From personal experience, if you think of Christianity in a negative light, what is it that Christians have done specifically to make you think of them that way?

I have a small red eared slider and the pet store recommended a turtle block (white chalky block that disolves in water). I did put it in. Will I have to add one with every water change? At $2+ dollar a block this could get expensive.
Is this just to make the water alkaline or is it mostly to add calcium to the water. If my water is alkaline enough, do I need one?

I used to have lots of friends but i wasn't close with any of them and many of them were really mean to me and put me down all the tim. At the beginning of the last school year i started to become friends with this new group of girls and i found out i had a lot in common with them. My old friends didn't like these new girls and tried to make me choose and i chose my new friends. This school year i became best friends with these girls but they always walked all over me and i let them do it. Last week that all started acting weird and stopped talking to me. I confronted them about it and it turned out that they all hate me. They say i am mean because i ditched my old friends which they pressured me to do and they say that i am bad person and they hate me. What should i do because i don't want to be friends with those girls anymore if they are mean but i can't go back to my old friends cos they always put me down. I can't belive those girls hate me so much i don't know what i did to them

OMG! Ok, first you had to have read my other questions about my friend to understand the whole situation. OK anyway, so I was getting dressed, and was just about to call Jessica to let her know that I was going to go bowling with her, when I heard the doorbell ring. I opened the door, and was bombarded by Jess! She almost tackled me with a hug. She was sobbing, and saying she was sorry. Sorry that she put me through all that worry, sorry that she hadn;t listened. I just sat there, hugging her back. We sat on my living room couch and talked it out. She said she just wanted to be thought of as cool, as popular. I looked at her and said "Jess, you ARE cool! You dont have to be all sexually active to prove that to some guy!" After all was settled, she went back to her house to get her stuff together to go bowling. She'll be back any mintue now, so I just wanted to get on real quick and ask, "Shouldn't I be the one saying sorry?" "Wasn't it all MY fault?"

I just found out that I have a step sister. I barely join myspace, and a month into the program a girl wanted me to add her as a friend. I look at her profile and saw that a lot of my family member were in her friend list. I just assume that she was my cousin. I ask one of my cousin about her and she told that she was my half sister. I dont know what to do, I dont know what to talk to her about. If you have any advice please tell me.

my son is 16 months old and is still biting younger children. after complaining enough he finally got moved over to the toddler area! they wanted me to wait until he was 18 months! but my son was 10lb 3 oz 22 in AT BIRTH! so he already had a good start on most of the kids at his state ran daycare! he has been there since he was 7wks so they KNOW my son! I have done everything @ home to the point my son RARELY bites! only when he is mad or is beyond excited. At daycare he does it out of frustration and anger! I feel at times they dont challenge him educationally wise and he gets very bored! People keep on saying that he will grow out of it but he has been doing it since he was 10 months or so! maybe earlier! and the crazy part is that at times they dont even inform me!!!

I have about half a dozen formal dresses from high school proms and other such occassions. I don't have any plans to wear any of them in the near future, but I want to keep them for sentimental reasons.

Unfortunately, they are taking up too much room in my small closet and I need to move them to the attic.

I have to go back to work 6 weeks after i give birth and Im not sure what to do about my schedule, me and my husband can choose what shift we want to work but I dont know what will work for us if me working in the morning or him, We dont want to hire a nanny or send te baby to a daycare and I want to keep working, Im very independent and always looking towards the future so I want my job and save as much money as I can, I stopped working in my first trimester and i miss it. This is our first baby and I want to be home when the baby needs me the most of course that will be always but I need the advise of people that have done this or what system worked for you and your partner if you both worked and didnt need a nanny. I can work anytime from 4am to 10pm and choose how many hours to work, i plan to worn no more than 6 hous a day, my husband can work day or night

about 6 mths later he just turned into a complete jerk. We have been on and off for these 5 yrs. We'll get together for a few months break up for like 6 mths get back together. Well two mths ago I broke up w him bcuz he said some really mean things. I couldnt even believe he said what he did. But now he keeps calling me, emailing & iming me like nothing happened. He hasnt even apologized bcuz he said he meant what he said. I am done w/ him I am tired of it After being together on and off for 5 yrs and it still hasnt worked why even try? I am still young(i'm 22) and want to move forward w/ my life and I dont even see him the same way I used to after what he said. I cant believe he would ever say anything like that to me. How can I get him off my mind and move on w/ my life when he wont let me go?
