A lot of people look down on people who have unskilled jobs. Fast food restaurants tend to employ teenagers and other unskilled workers, so it's a popular sterotype with the kind of person who thinks they're above that kind of work. It's unfortunate, because everyone has their place in society, but people with small minds somehow think that because they don't have a low paying job then it's fine to make fun of those who do. Most of the fast food workers I've met are normal, hard working people with good attitudes. Sorry if someone offended you- they should grow up.

Your 100% right. I completely agree with you. i work in a fast food place, i freakin' do everything. The register and in the kitchen. It's not just the burger flipper's that work hard for their money and benefit's, it's all the employee's.And by the way fast food places don't have benefits for their workers cuz they are cheap! just my opinion.fast food worker's only get paid minunum wage and thats about it.

I feel that they should be treated the same way as anyone else, they are making a living serving the public, it isn't only flipping the burgers it is the service that they provide, hopefully fast flipping and that is it. but they deserve to be rewarded. never did that though thank goodness.

They do work hard for their money. a lot of people have said it seems this way because they are "entry-level" jobs, virtually no experiance is usually required to get one. But to keep one and to be good at it requires not only hard work but a surprising amount of intelligence. You have to be able to deal with all kinds of people, not only customers but co-workers too. And usually you're doing two or three things at one time, and doing them all quickly.

I agree with you.....actually...you can make a fairly good living if you stay with it. Most of those places offer benefits and bonus packages. It's because for the first level of work in one of those places usually doesnt take alot of experience.
It is an unflattering thing to say though.
People should think before they speak......or follow the old adage of "if you dont have anything nice to say..then dont say anything at all"...

because some everybody is purely that way. because a good number of quickly nutrients workers are childrens, and nicely yeah...childrens, that about explains it in itself. some people besides the undeniable fact that are extremly valuable. I purely dont tell the rude ones to have a valuable day. Society believes quickly nutrients workers are stupid because they arent operating at a extra practise required position. yet they dont see that they could be procuring college.

They do work hard (personal experience), but those types of jobs are basically for unskilled labor. But they can be a great start, which is why so many are teens, and can lead to better jobs. It is much easier to get a job if you are already employed.

i have to agree with you..i used to think people that worked fast food had it easy , well im 16 & i started working at McDonalds, & its actually a lot of work, at my age i don't need a lot of money so i think working at a fast food place is good for teens, Now i honestly wouldn't recommend someone to choose it as a life long job, but its good for starters....
