I acknowledge that's a rather loaded question, but I am going to be honest: I get the feeling that many right-wing religious groups, leaders, and politicians fixate on small passages of the Old Testament -- the parts having to do with homosexuality -- rather than working on what Jesus himself preached: dressing the naked, feeding the hungry, feeding the sick, loving your neighbor, doing unto others, etc. Is that the reality or a distortion of the media? And if it is the reality, why?

My partner wants to start a construction/real estate business called "Thunderbird Enterprises." I went online and found out that the name Thunderbird is taken. He said that unless it's taken in Missouri for a construction company, it doesn't count. True?

the bible is cruel to woman eg when a woman gives birth to girls she is unclean for 14 days and giving birth to boys she is unclean for 7 days. Why the differance.

ok so im tired and my nee is busted up so im not going to move, but yet my gf well kinda gf wanted me to get up go downstirs and get my cam so i can go on for her and sit there shirtless for her to look at. Hey my hubbie is graduatin from basicis on Dec. 15 and gets to leave for 2 weeks on a holiday block leave before he returns to AIT. I really want to go to his graduation however is a 17 hour drive with two kids. The airline tickets are 800.00 for the both of us. I was thinking about not going his mom and dad are going. Or should I eat the cost and go. If I did no not go I was going to get a hotel here in our hometown takes some days off work go chrtimas shopping and just have time with him. ANy advie would be helpful.

my 8 year old son has recently started steeling things around the house...
it first started with spare change left around the house, but now i found my 16 year old daughter's iPod ruined and hidden in his backpack! he's stolen everything from money from my purse, to my daughter's cell phone... and im not sure how to make him stop!
rather than punish him id rather teach him a lesson to gurantee he won't do it again... im just not sure how to handle this!

if there's any experienced mothers out there that have worked through this problem PLEASE let me know of anything i can do! im going crazy!

At last I am at a point in my life where I have a lifestyle suited to sharing with a dog. I have a nice home, garden and am home all day. I have always loved border collies but I do not have a large amount of land, although there is a huge park close by. Would it be cruel to keep a border collie in a town house (with an average sized garden) but take him or her to the park a couple of times a day? Or should I choose a breed which does not require as much exercise? I am very aware of the enormous responsibility that comes with 'adopting' a puppy and want to ensure that I am prepared and able to give my new family member everything he or she needs for a healthy and happy life. Thanks for your help!

Ok so...we've always been the "rebel" class. We want our tshirts to be really memerable, fun, & a little scandalous. The class of '05 had "always on the run" with a picture of handcuffs. We REALLY liked that idea and we want something along those lines. Remember we ARE in highschool---so we need to keep it somewhat appropriate. I've voted before, but I moved to Los Angeles this semester. A volunteer on my campus had me fill out the registration form about a month ago, since I'd be voting in a new county of California. She took all the paperwork and said she'd turn it in and I'd be able to vote November 7th. Well, that's tomorrow now and I never recieved any packet in the mail. I used the CA website to find out WHERE I'm supposed to vote, I am just afraid I'll go there and they'll say I'm not on the list or something. Since I didn't get anything in the mail I'm worried that maybe my paperwork didn't go through...Does anyone know a number I could call to make sure I'm okay to vote tomorrow? Should I just not worry about this and go anyways to the polls tomorrow? Thanks!

When every liberal news outlet is saying . . . . Everyone in America needs to watch " Obsession-The Threat of Radical Islam " . A new film depicting unbelievable HATRED and KILLING of evry person who is not a believer of their ideology. This is 'new' news. Pretty much came out in the last couple days. I saw the program and make no mistake about it. They want TOTAL world control. For 30 years the state-controlled TV stations in the middle east have been broadcasting childrens shows that teach 5-6 year olds to " Kill every infidel you can ". These little kids were singing songs about how they wanted to please allah and kill for him. When asked . . . What do you want to do when you grow up?. . . . These children were all to happy to respond .. .. .." I want to kill the infidels and smear their blood all over my body ". And just so you know, they defined 'infidel' as anybody who didn't subscribe to their HATE filled beliefs. And they'll start with Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists
