What do you like/dislike about your state? What makes your state unique?

There was this French man who came to America to learn how to speak English. So he has this pretty tutor. And she's like, "Okay, you are here to speak English, but first find 3 words for us to start with. Meet me back here in 1 hour." And so the French man sets off. He goes to the NASA and there is a countdown. 3-2-1 TAKEOFF! "That shall be my 1st word." thought the French man.
He had thirty minutes until he would re-unite with his tutor.
"I need to hurry!" So he stopped at a local zoo.
He asked a man what that striped thing was and the man said it was a zebra. "Zebra shall be my 3rd word!"
He goes to a mother with a little baby and he points to the baby asking what was the word for it. "Why that is a baby!" The mother replies."Baby? That will be my 3rd word! I shall re-unite with my tutor at once!
So he went back and the pretty tutor asked him, "Well, what are your three words?" she asked.
The French man proudly declared,
"TAKEOFF ZE-BRA BABY!" Then he got a slap in the face!!

I mean believing in god makes more sense than believing in voting! You go and vote and say well "they" will count that votes and thats that! HAHAHAHA. Well I'm going to church and giving a generous offering so I can secure my place in "heaven" HAHAHAHAHA It's even more absurd now that there are electronic voting machines.

A few weeks ago I hooked up with this girl who I met online. I spent the night but had to leave the next morning. She did not want me to leave (tried repeatedly to talk me into staying, was visibly upset about me leaving, begged me to stay, was pissed cause I didn't). I kissed her goodbye and left.

Well, I get home that day and she IM's me on the dating site we met on but suddenly ends the conversation, saying almost exactly the same thing I said when I had to leave.

So she is online for 5-6 days afterwards and hasn't been online again since. I sent her a message since then, but she has obviously not read it yet.

She knows I don't like calling her (roomates). Should I call her or let it go?

Normally I would say that this is a game, but she didn't play any games before and didn't strike me as that type.

My boyfriend broke up with me a little over a week ago. And just two days later, i started going out with his bestfriend. They arn't bestfriends anymore, but they were. Now my ex completely hates me and my new boyfriend. Was i wrong to go out with his friend? He did break up with me, so i dont see where i went wrong.

There is this guy at school. we sit together in my english class but we dont talk much.i really like him but im not sure he likes me back. I have seen him staring at me.We had also alot of eye contact. One time i was playing with my guy friends and they were tickling me to death that i fell to the ground because 3 of them at the same time were tickling me and he was at his locker a few meters away and wen he saw that he just stared at me like in a trance,and after his friend woke him up he mad and kicked his locker so hard it bounced back and kicked it again to close it.

It seems that nobody knows how to stay commited to a realtionship anymore.
Divorce is higher than ever. "Married people are now in the minority in the US." (Associated Press)

Several people on here ask "Is it wrong to be in love with someone else when i'm married?"....

What's the point anymore? Why get married? It's simpler to just break up than divorce.

Ok I asked for help on this but I want to hear different opinions. Here is my story and please give me ur best advice. I met this girl when we started school. We're both college students and i only see her twice a week. She broke up with her bf not too long ago. Its weird, when i met this girl i had no interests in her maybe cuz she had a bf, but whenever we talk we sort of get into arguments about sports and we laugh about it, I can feel the chemistry. Last week i got a chance to talk to her after class for a long time, just me and her, her friend notice us talking and said we look like a nice couple. I really want to ask this girl out but im scared, after that long talk we had i just cant get her out of my head! That one talk for sum odd reason just made me fall for her. I remember in class when i was walking back to my seat, she looked at me and laughed but i notice she looks at me time from time in class. What do I do?, I really like this girl and I feel shes the one. Please help!
