This is what my husband did
it was my b-day he did not say anything did not send a card or give me a call during the day (made me think he forgot) well when he got home he arrived with a cake that he ordered like a week ago and a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
That was enough to make my day and he even made me cry. and I dont cry easily. he did not give me presents or take me to a big whatever that is what really counts what comes from your heart will be the correct thing and if she dont like it dump her.
Because those guys are the ones you cant find any more.

Id say it depends on the girl, which doesnt help you much, does it? Does she like presents, as in things to put up on a shelf or wear and know that YOU gave them to her, and she could think of you? Or is she the type of girl who loves to go and do things? If it is the latter, you could take her out for a nice lunch and then a movie she wants to see, or a picnic in a park. Spend time with her and show her you care. My favorite things are when my guy does things for me, and it could very well be washing the dishes, or getting my car serviced so that i dont have to go and do it, or coming home to find something done that I was NOT wanting to do, like climbing a ladder to hang curtain rods. As i said, it depends on the girl. What says "love" to her? is it saying I love you, doing something to say i love you, or buying her nice presents? It could be a combination, but you have to think of what your girl is like and go for the best one.

Give her some roses and take her to the park u make sandwiches bring napkins plastic ware plastic glasses a beverage that she likes and just kick it for the day tell her it's her day and u love her.

There's a place called bath junkie where you can go buy a canister of salt scrub for your body, but then she takes it to the store and picks the scent and color she wants it to be!! It's fun and easy for you cause you just get some plain salt scrub!

It would have helped if you would have given her age. Because some women like flowers, some like jewelry, some like candy, perfume. Anything, even DVD's of her favorite movie. So you need to do some digging to find out what she likes.

Jewelry is nice to give, or maybe some nice perfume.
a box of chocolates and some flowers, with a Gift voucher so she can pick want she wants. i hope this helps

what are her interests? if she likes nascar, get her a nascar teddy bear. does she like to cook? get her the emeril cook book. if all else fails, a nice dinner out and a movie is almost always a sure win.
