Most like the assertive type,,, a take control kinda guy,,,,,,,, but they are the first to trash guys because guys are just *** holes,,,,,

now if they dated more quiet reserved guys they would see a whole other side,,, but the "nice guy is usually left in the dust,,,

Sorry, but you have to be a bit of both - you need to be assertive enough to not be indecisive (a real turn off), but quiet enough to actually listen to what the women has to say (not just the sound of your own voice.)

generally depends on the woman. if she herself is quiet, a little assertiveness is ok. gives her a sense of security. lets her know the man she is with will be able to not only take care of her, but himself as well. as for the more boisterous women, they tend to go either way. they can want some meak little casper milquetoast, or someone who's laughter alone can shake the walls.

personally, i like the funny type. i dont care if he's quiet or assertive, as long as he's funny and can make me laugh ;-)

Combination: thoughtful (thinks before speaking), but confident. I met a guy once who had this balance exactly right. It was a winning combination for sure, I was head over heels.
