I was watching the news last night and they were discussing strange or unusual Halloween treats that had been handed out. One lady wrote into the news saying how she had found a coupon for a free weeks worth of Jazzercise in her kids' Trick-Or-Treating bag full of candy. This is funny, yet at the same time, I almost saw it as being an alright idea. (As long as it isn't EVERYONE giving these out! LOL) I'm into staying healthy and exercising on a regular basis, I don't have any children myself, but I do see where youth obesity is at an all time high and causing problems. I feel it is SO important for parents to teach their children at a young age the importance of a healthy diet and regular exercise.
-Do you feel that it was wrong for a person to include this in the childrens Halloween bag? Does it not promote a healthy lifestyle for todays youth?
-Do you feel childhood obesity is a problem in our society, and if so, how can it be changed?
