try AVS Video Converter http://www.best-video-converter.com/avs-video-converter.html

- install and run it
- open a dvd
- click "Edit"
- select a part or parts you need on the timeline
- close the Edit window

use a dvd splitter programme.. they will allow you to mark the beginning and end of the clips and extract the same from the dvd's. Please check this link:
