2 cups flour = 10 ounces. 3 1/3 cups whole wheat flour = 1 pound. 4 1/2 cups cake flour = 1 pound

It depends on the type of flour. You are measuring dry cups and comparing it to weight. Regular flour would yield 32 cups. If it were cake flour (lighter than regular flour) you would get 45 cups from 10 pounds.

One cup of flour equals four ounces. With 16 ounces in one pound, you'll have four cups in one pound, or 40 cups in a ten-pound bag.

However, the only way you'll get that many cups out of a ten-pound bag is to measure flour correctly. To correctly measure flour, use a spoon to lightly scoop flour out of its container into a measuring cup. Continue until the cup is overflowing. Then use the back side of a knife to level off the flour even with the top edge of the measuring cup.

If you measure is densely, like any other dry ingredient, you'll cut your yield by almost half. But if you do it the right way, you'll yield almost 40 cups of flour. The right way may take a little more time, but it'll be cost effective and your items will turn out better with the correct amount of flour included.

Happy baking!

APPROXIMAYELY 3 3/4 cups of flour in ONE pound.

So about 37 1/2
You can not figure this based on ounces on the side of a measuring cup.
It wont work out right. If you think that 1 cup is 8 ounces then you will have a sloppy dough. It is not the same measurement. Dry can not be factored on the ounces measurement.
I have edited my answer: I still stand by the above but take into consideration this:

Well, one cup is 8 ounces, and one pound is 16 ounces. So, I would say 20 cups. :)
