My son (11 months old) has been sick for the past 2 days. He has a fever (101-102 degrees over the course of the past few days), has about 4 soiled diapers each day, and loss of appetite. We called the doctor and they said to stop giving him milk and to call again if he wasn't better in a few days. Now we have not been giving him milk and it has been a few days, he is still sick. They won't give us an appointment until tomarrow morning. What can I do in the meantime to help my son? I am already giving him medicine and trying to get him to eat/drink as much as possible.

Honestly! Don't you think that the main reason why there are now more behavior problems in schools is because the kids either aren't being disciplined effectively at home or that they are hanging out with the wrong crowd? Isn't it a bit simplistic to think that school prayer would cure all societal ills? After all, how many religious hypocrites have you seen attending worship services? Religion is NOT a panacea!

any of you being bullied at work? i was reading this article on Yahoo and am curious as to how many others out there are also being bullied at work? I am. hell everyone talks about me and i don't even talk to anyone. recently I heard that i'm going to get the heave hoe just because they don't like me. anyone else going through the same crap as myself? when i was reading this article it really had me thinking what am i going to do next. it's like you wan to tell them off, but you don't know what to say.

i'm getting awarded $2,025 in financial aid, and my mom is always asking me "when is your check coming," and "you know you owe me $600," and yes, she has paid for my books which all equaled about $150, plus my bus passes which were about $200, but that's all. That doesn't equal $600 dollars! I don't have a job right now, and I really need money, and my mom is a teacher with a masters and makes a whole lot of money. Do you think it is fair that she is trying to take most of my money? I am not even excited about getting the check in the mail, b/c a) she is probably looking for it, and b) she is going to try to take all of it, or find some way for me to spend it on something stupid so I'll be broke. What should I do?

Why do people feel they need huge trucks and SUVS that get 5-10 mpg? I mean unless youre doing construction have a family of 7 or regularly move large amounts of dirt, what is the justification?

I usually drink 3 or 4 beers on my lunch break and a six pack at dinner. Other than that, I finish off a bottle of Jack about every 3 days or so. My girlfriend says "I have a problem." I don't think I drink all that much. What do you think?

I went with her friend to homecoming but her friend ended up being pretty stupid so we arent together anymore. I chat online with this person a lot and we walk together in the halls almost everyday. I have really become to like this girl. I want to wait until Turnabaut to see if she will ask me to that and if she doesnt, should I ask her? Social class is very important in high school so i will tell you a little bout myself and her. Im a sophmore, honors student, and have been a varsity swimmer since freshman year. My social skills are somewhat lacking in that im really shy and not talkative but many people say that once they get to know me, im the coolest person they know. Now she is a junior, average class student, and a varsity cheerleader. She is very outgoing and likes to have simple fun. Also, many people in my school think that she and her group of friends are stupid. She is also kinda short and she is asian. So, do I stand a chance?

Michael Blake Wafford, 20, dying on the battlefield. Packley says he smoked marijuana to try to escape the images. He also left the base without permission. "I wanted out," Packley says. Last year he got his wish and was expelled from the Marine Corps. As a consequence, he lost access to the free counseling and medication he needed to treat the mental wounds left from combat, according to Packley, his former defense lawyer and documents from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Scores of combat veterans like Packley are being dismissed from the Marines without the medical benefits needed to treat combat stress, says Lt. Col. Colby Vokey.
