Lady and the Tramp !!

First off don't buy a sequel no offence but they are rubbish and should only be watched once.

First of all who is this film for if for females they probably want something more romantically based, old fairy tales I would recommend any of the following, in order of which I liked the best,

1) Beauty and the Beast- The little Mermaid. They are in joint position but I myself can not find the little mermaid, the video or even the DVD whether there is one I don't know. However I do know their will be the little mermaid 3 coming out 2007 so I will have to wait till then.
2) Pochantas- love this story of two different worlds and I love the soundtrack.
£) Cinderella, simple story and the girl got what she wanted in the end.
3) Lady and the Tramp- Even though this is about dogs I still believe it is a beautiful love story and worth buying.

So those are the three love stories i would buy.

However these aren't necessarily for boys but they are a lot more adventurous so the boys don't have to put up with romance all the way through.

1) Aladdin- I love this movie and it has the wittyness of Robin Williams and the adventures along with the romance.
2)Hercules) From a guys point of view and he's a hero, who gets flustered when talking to girls.
3) Tarzan- He swings from trees- nuff said.

Two other films are the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Mulan.

I also love the Hunchback of Notre Dame simply because it's about outcasts.

Two others to consider are George of the Jungle and A goofy movie becuase they are fun filled.

Out of all these I would buy Beauty and the Beast I feel like Belle, always reading, having ambitions and vision and the people around never understanding, also the story of Beauty and the Beast is lovely especially the tale as old as time song.

Oi!

Ice Age is NOT Disney folks!! Great movie, but not Disney's work.

That being said...:o)

My choices would be Toy Story or Monsters Inc for boys

Girls - I liked Mulan (I grew up in Taiwan so Chinese culture is near and dear to my heart) or Aladdin. Princesses are always an easy sell with girls.

If it's for you - what do you like? Is there a particular theme or story type that you prefer?

Oliver & Company is a GREAT classic Disney movie that doesn't get nearly as much attention as it deserves, so I'd go with that one. Rescuers Down Under is good, too. A classic that you hardly hear about any more.

How about A Christmas Carol? That's the one that has Scrooge McDuck playing Ebeneezar Scrooge. It's a great Christmas story with all the Disney traditional favorites.

I love the movie collection of "Toy Tinkers" (1949)

Donald and Chip n' Dale "celebrate" Christmas together!

Full of antics and an all out Christmas war that has to be seen to be believed...lol

Nominated for an Academy Award and is a very good cartoon.

My personal favorite is Peter Pan, but Toy Story (both of them) and Finding Nemo are great too. If you don't want an animation one, try The Rookie or The Parent Trap (the original!).
