Have you noticed that the people who insist that we shouldn't be allowed to own guns just happen to be the types of people who you wouldn't trust with one in the first place? All of the law-abiding American gun owners I know personally are responsible, mature, and stable. However, I have had "discussions" with anti-gun folks who, during our discussions, exploded into hysterics, calling me "child killer", etc., and telling me that my guns are responsible for shootings in inner-city schools, etc. (as if guns have the ability go get up and go around shooting all by themselves).

When my daughter totaled her 2001 Ford Escort we called the insurance company. My insurance company told me that their was only liability on her car!!! Of course, I freaked out and was steaming mad. The reason I was dumbfounded by this is because we owe $4,200 on the car and have the car loan through a local bank. Now, isn't it a law, that we should've had full coverage on this vehicle because we had a 4,200 car loan to the bank. On any other vehicle I have ever bought I know for fact that the bank made me have full coverage on that vehicle. Now, what do I do? Am I screwed, or is the insurance company at fault of the bank? I really am frustrated, please help.

OK, here's the situation. Been married over 20 years. My wife is a very attractive 43 year old. Very bubbly, with a lot of friends. She works with a 25 year old guy and they text message each other when they are not at work. While she was away on business, I discovered they had sent a few "I miss you" type messages to each other. I'm beginning to think I should be worried. I thought we had a very close, strong marriage. Should I be worried, or am I being overly suspicious?

was reading about attraction.

mostly biological reasons. eg facial symmetry, cute infant-like features and expression, and proper proportions of face.

on body, a 70% waist-hip ratio is the optimum.

as 4fat/skinny, depends on introversion/extrov*(in fact most quieter introvert guys prefer small breasts), +overall ego same reasons why sum women mor concerned w/ height than others.

generally has very little to do with the media and what ur friends think, and different societies will have different preferences depending on the environment, things like that. eg fiji

proof is fact that despite XTREME thinness promoted by fashion magazines, virtually same number men have this preference(a low number) as if didnt exist.

virtually no males are primarly attractd 2anorexics.

we're IN8LY WAY more concerned, w/ looks than most conventionly brain-head party-girls, apart height.

so how easy is it for a not-desperate man with a lot of selfrespect 2 make himslf like biologicaly ugly women?

I asked a question to christians the other day. I asked if they realized that they too were atheists. I asked this question based on the fact that the word atheism was formed in the ninteenth century as a definition of what it means to reject a current conception of the divine. So that would mean that to some form or another all religions that do not accept others is a form of Atheism.
Atheists were angry and referred to me to a dictionary, and told me that there belief, although they dont call it one, is that there is no god.
Christians were ticked as well, I dont have to explain why, we already know why. But all I was trying to suggest was maybe we all are a piece of every belief, and even if we dont want to worship that belief or non belief then we can at least recognize that there are parts of us in it. JUst wondering if any of you have had this sort of encouner on this forum. Or is it best for me to ask questions with one belief in mind, instead of all?

I want to go to school in the UK but I'm not sure what's a good city. I spoke with one of my current professors and he said to go to "cities with character" in England. I had told him I was looking into Manchester and he said that was a boring city.

He suggested Bath and Leeds.

What would you say are some nice cities in England any why? Your insight may be extremely important to me in the near future. Thank you very much!!

I use tampons and for at least my past two cycles, I've noticed that only one side of the tampon gets dirty...the other side doesn't get any blood at all on it. Is this something I should be worried about? And why does this happen?

I work for a multi million dollar financial company. i have been there fro 1 year. For the past 2 months, they have been talking about doing a fundraiser for my son who has medical issues. They were talking about going company wide and I have e-mail corrispondance regarding this fundraiser. During this time, the fundraiser was postponed for a month, they said to make sure that they did it right, I borrower $3000 from one of the companies that we do business with to pay off one of my son's doctors bills from the specialist to ensure that he could continue getting treatment there. I was going to pay them back as soon as the fundraiser kicked off. The fundraiser was cancelled sighting legal issues with soliciting over e-mail. The next day, one of the other employees in the company e-mailed the district managers and told them that there was money that was borrowed and not paid back and I was terminated for conflict of interest. Do I have any recourse at all?

Two guys are walking through the woods and come across this big deep hole.
"Wow...that looks deep." "Sure does... toss a few pebbles in there and see how deep it is."
They pick up a few pebbles and throw them in and wait... no noise "Geeez. That is REALLY deep... here.. throw one of these great big rocks down there. Those should make a noise."

They pick up a couple football-sized rocks and toss them into the hole and wait... and wait. Nothing.
They look at each other in amazement. One gets a determined look on his face and says, "Hey...over here in the weeds, there's a railroad tie. Help me carry it over here. When we toss THAT sucker in, it's GOTTA make some noise."
The two drag the heavy tie over to the hole and heave it in. Not a sound comes from the hole.

Suddenly, out of the nearby woods, a goat appears, running like the wind. It rushes toward the two men, then right past them, running as fast as its legs will carry it. Suddenly it leaps in the air and into the hole.
The two men are astonished with what they've just seen... Then, out of the woods comes a farmer who spots the men and ambles over.

"Hey... have you two guys seen my goat out here?"
"You bet we did! Craziest thing I've ever seen! It came running like crazy and just jumped into this hole!"
"Nah", says the farmer, "That couldn't have been MY goat. My goat was chained to a railroad tie."
