was reading about attraction.

mostly biological reasons. eg facial symmetry, cute infant-like features and expression, and proper proportions of face.

on body, a 70% waist-hip ratio is the optimum.

as 4fat/skinny, depends on introversion/extrov*(in fact most quieter introvert guys prefer small breasts), +overall ego same reasons why sum women mor concerned w/ height than others.

generally has very little to do with the media and what ur friends think, and different societies will have different preferences depending on the environment, things like that. eg fiji

proof is fact that despite XTREME thinness promoted by fashion magazines, virtually same number men have this preference(a low number) as if didnt exist.

virtually no males are primarly attractd 2anorexics.

we're IN8LY WAY more concerned, w/ looks than most conventionly brain-head party-girls, apart height.

so how easy is it for a not-desperate man with a lot of selfrespect 2 make himslf like biologicaly ugly women?

interesting opinions

andy, u mentioned adjusting and determining "standards". but is this either any point or even ethical? i personally would not enjoy being in a long term relationship with a woman who was calculating whether i am the correct balance between realistic goal and attractive(btw by attractive i include things other than physical)

is it better to:

1. get affection even if it means being with those who do not interest your emotions much.
2. levitate towards those who genuinely interest you a lot, and go without relationships altogether if you cannot obtain them?

Alot of people like ugly girls but there probably not that ugly to them.
I like very thin ladies but most like them with some meat on there bones. I've tried not to be Shallow Hal but it doesn't work for me. Whats possible for you may differ. My friends say ***** have no eyes. I disagree. But there still has to be some attraction or why would you strike up a conversation? Different strokes I guess.

You have to look at things realistically. First, you're probably not Brad Pitt, so don't try to date Angelina Jolie. Once you figure out where your status is, you will be able to adjust your standards accordingly. Beauty is not everything, personality is. I think the most attractive thing about a woman is that she has confidence. You can, after a little thought and effort, be happy with a real woman, and not some plastic misrepresentation forced on us by Hollywood and the media.

Not if you're interested only in appearance. Ordinary looking women are very easy to like. Pretty women can be quite vain and self-centered.

Have you never heard of the expression, beauty is in the eye of the beholder?
