I went to AA and I really gave it a positive go. The chanting I didn't like, but I keep telling myself it is good programing. When I started the 12 steps is when I really started hating it. My biggest problem was the learned helplessness that these people allowed themselves to fall into. I kept telling myself it was good thing if it was helping all these people out. The thing that made me stop going was my sponser saying that going to the support group meetings is not real AA. I think that is total f*ucking Bullsh*it to get over any addiction a support group is probably the most effective part to help you cope with the world. I have heard of non- religious programs that are based more on psychology does anyone have info on that? Maybe I just went to a bad group or something.

I was looking for a certain medication(prescription) to see if I can cut costs from my local pharmacy. When I looked on the internet there were quite a few drug companies that say NO PRESCRIPTION NEEDED. I thought that was illegal. Now I know how teens can purchase drugs without a prescription

I have an 05 Titan, with a KnN intake system on it. My check engine light came on after 3 months of use with no problems. I put 500 miles with the intake easily if not more, then out of the blue my check engine light comes on. I've called KnN numerous times and the solutions they gave me only worked temporarily, so I was told to just send it back. I put my stock intake back on and my light has went away, so I know its not my truck. Has anybody encountered this with either their truck or one they worked on? Also, should I just put the intake back on and take it in for service and see what they tell me?

My girlfriend mentioned she was into role playing. She does something with babies at work in the hospital(not sure what). So one evening when she came home, I layed a bunch of baby toys around the bedroom. I was wearing a diaper and crawling around on my hands and knees with a pacifier in my mouth. When she saw me I said 'gaa gaa, Nathan made a messy come change it!' She totally wasn't into it and I feel crushed. I went in my pants and everything and she just cried in the living room. I crawled out to comfort her and she told me my breath reeked of whiskey but I wasn't drunk!. What did I do wrong? I thought it would be erotic to change me and abuse me. At least for her..

I'm moving in with my boyfriend and I don't know if I'm doing the right thing. I'm 19 and he's 21. We've been together for nearly two years now and I still feel smitten. My daughter's dream is to have a matched set of silverware for Christmas. Over a year ago she asked me to get her the Chanterelle pattern from Betty Crocker. Our whole family and friends saved our points to help. We are not a family of great means. When we found that Betty Crocker was going out of business, we were able to get the knives and the serving pieces. However, we can't find forks and teaspoons anywhere. I have searched everywhere on the web and can't find this pattern on any of the auctions or websites. Please, I hope that someone will help make my daughter's dream come true.

I'm going to be in Oakland for 3 weeks, last week in Nov and 2 weeks in December... What are some fun things to do there. Inexpensive is better, but I'm willing to pay for a good experience. I won't have a car, but I'm going to rent one for a day so that I can drive out to the ocean. Is there any public transportation available?
Also, I've heard that there are some bad neighborhoods, where should we stay away from?
