Okay, so here's god. He gives people free will. They can believe or not believe, but at the same time, he sends mankind human prophets to spread his word, so despite giving humans a choice, he obviously wants people to believe in him, otherwise why send the prophets?

So my question is, if he wants people to believe, why use a delivery system as unreliable and inefficient as word-of-mouth? Clearly god is aware of all the different opinions, the arguing and fighting amongst all the different religions. Why not simply put an end to it in one fell swoop? Manifest your message in the stars, or the clouds, or the shores of every beach. Wouldn't his existence be a lot more compelling if there were messages from him in spiderwebs and on tree leaves, or if birds sang it, than hearing some crazyass minister on tv?

People would still have to make up their own minds, but the message would carry a lot more weight if it were conveyed in a manner befitting an all-powerful deity.

Once there were twin brothers by the name of Jones. John Jones was married, and Joe Jones was single. The single brother Joe was the proud owner of a dilapidated row boat. It happened that John Jone's wife died the same day that Joe's rowboat filled with water and sank.

A few days later, a kindly old lady met Joe and mistaken him for John said; "Oh Mr. Jones, I am sorry to hear of your great loss, you must feel terrible".

Joe smiled and said, "Well I am not a bit sorry, she was rather old from the start. Her bottom was all chewed up and she smelled of dead fish. Even the first time I got into her, she made water faster than anything I ever saw. She had a bad crack and a pretty big hole in her front, and that hole got bigger every time I used her. It got so I could barely handle her, but if anyone else used her she leaked like anything. The thing that finished her was four guys from the other side of town. They came down looking for a good time and asked if I could lend her to them. I warned them she wasn't so hot, but they could take a crack at her if they liked. Well, the result was the crazy fools tried to get inside her all at once and it was too much for her. She cracked right up the middle".

Before he could finish the old lady fainted!

In my observation all most all economic societies tend to be a blend of socialism, capitalism and dictatorship. Its just which type of economic system tend to be the most dominant is just what that society (or country) call its self. I was watching the north koreans call themselves an socialist country. I found that very funny because it appears to me to be mostly dominate dictatorship. A pure socialist country would be no more than a welfare state. There are no incentives for people to work. Just like the welfare system in the U.S. is call socialist programs. Thats the reason why I think karl Marks theroy of a pure socialist economy was a stupid idea. He was responcible for Russia's problems. North korea,and other countries. How could people be so stupid to believe that a socialist economy could exist..Im glad I couldnt visit north korea because, I couldn't stop laughting at all those 0ppressed stupid people. My friend, a guy, and I have been spending time exclusively with each other for the past three years. We go to basketball games, the movies, and shoot pool. Our times together aren't really "dates" I guess, we just enjoy each other's company. We always have great conversations on the phone and get along wonderfully. He doesn't go out with or date anyone else. I told him a year ago my feelings for him, but he said he didn't have those same feelings. This is fine, but he hasn't dated others only me. I updated my iTunes software to the newest version- and now my playlists won't transfer onto my iPod. With the old iTunes, I would just go to EDIT, PREFERENCES, click on the IPOD tab, and check off the playlists that I wanted to be transferred. But now it doesn't give me that option on PREFERENCES, and so I don't know what to do..
