Okay, so here's god. He gives people free will. They can believe or not believe, but at the same time, he sends mankind human prophets to spread his word, so despite giving humans a choice, he obviously wants people to believe in him, otherwise why send the prophets?

So my question is, if he wants people to believe, why use a delivery system as unreliable and inefficient as word-of-mouth? Clearly god is aware of all the different opinions, the arguing and fighting amongst all the different religions. Why not simply put an end to it in one fell swoop? Manifest your message in the stars, or the clouds, or the shores of every beach. Wouldn't his existence be a lot more compelling if there were messages from him in spiderwebs and on tree leaves, or if birds sang it, than hearing some crazyass minister on tv?

People would still have to make up their own minds, but the message would carry a lot more weight if it were conveyed in a manner befitting an all-powerful deity.

The last of prophets in the order of time was Malachias.

Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible

Second Epistle Of Saint Peter
Chapter 2

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment

11 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment. 12 But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you: 14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction

You really sound intelligent there You have ears and you have to detect in your own way who is telling you the right thing or not. But yes it would be delightful if Gods animals or the stars could do this then we probably would be better off. I think I know what you are trying to say and I agree that there is alot of things said that shouldn't be and things that's should The so called things and people are who you don't listen too and that so hard to do when there is so many. I also wonder why he don't swoosh. But I do know the Bible has all but fulfilled itself its just a matter of time.

What? You want God to spell it out for you? You want a spider to spin a message in it's web "God is real?" Come on. Why doesn't He just ring you up on your cell phone and chat? He could do that, but then where is faith?
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the expanse proclaims His handiwork.
Psalm 97:6 The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the people see His glory.

If God boomed from the sky at you and said. "believe in me or go to Hell", then that would be kind of coercive, now wouldn't it? What would happen to human free will if he did that?

Besides, God, for some reason, likes to work through these bickering, imperfect creatures that he created (we have to have a reason to exist, after all.). It gives us something to do.

God has left enough evidence that belief in him is plausible, but not certain. People who like God will believe in him, and people who hate God and his commands are able to generate just enough doubt to disbelieve.

Romans 1:20
God's eternal power and character cannot be seen. But from the beginning of creation, God has shown what these are like by all he has made. That's why those people don't have any excuse.

"In the stars your handiwork I see," "...has been clearly shown from what was created" Do you want the birds to sing the Bible? are you unable to read? The stars *do* "declare his majesty."I am not sure if you are asking a question or making a point. When I see God's handiwork(birds do sing, the stars declare his majesty, we see his beauty throughout Creation), I am inspired to praise him and worship Him. If you want to here a nice song on how God does reveal himself through creation, listen to "How Great Thou Art."

He does! but humans are so blind and so wrapped up in ourselves that we do not see his signs! God spreads his word to me every day when I'm out walking in our woods out back - he's all around me. Birds do sing god's word, spiders weave it in their webs, trees grow it in their tree leaves, and people who are looking for it notice. everyone else is too wrapped up in their daily business to listen.
