If so, what do you do to make yourself feel better?

Realize that you are a spirit child of a loving Father in Heaven (God). He didn't make any junk. When I think about this... I realize I need to get up off my pity pot and do something to make my life better..... I find that serving others makes me feel better.

Hmmmm....

I don't know if my life "means anything." I don't know if there is a God or Creator or whatever. Life does seem pointless at times.

However, that does not mean I can't enjoy life. I don't have to understand the universe in order to live in it happily.

Illustration: I have very little idea about how a car engine works (I know the basic principles of iternal combustion, I suppose), but that doesn't mean I cannot drive and enjoy my car and use it for my benefit.

I try to think of life as an adventure and a gift, rather than an exercise in futility. It may indeed be futile, but so what? I'm here. This is the hand I've been dealt, and I'm not folding. I don't know if there's a kitty or jackpot, but I may as well live AS IF there is one. What the hell...it's worth a shot.

Love Jack

What I do to make myself feel better is to read positive affirmations. Listen to some really good music that cheers you up, example..Girls just want to have fun!! OR dance to YMCA by The Village People. Light some scented candles and sit in the biggest bubble bath you can take. Going out with a special friend and splitting a really rich chocolate sundae with lots of whipped cream. Hey at least this way you only have 1/2 the calories..Smile. And just smile, sometimes that is all it takes to see someone else do and its free!

Well, such question, once asked, always leads to a negative answer--you just don't bother to ask like that if you 'feel' or 'know' that life has some meaning...Actually, it is all but a metaphorical usage of our language, and I don't think it can be 'properly' answered in the way in which you look up words in a dictionary...
But there might be 'metaphorical answers' to such 'metaphorical inquiry' and some of them are constructive, positive, and the others are passive, negative and, simply bad.
My advice: Do not indulge, and take justification from, those bad answers, as if it did make yourself feel better despite your 'meaningless life'.

it is via fact we are continually plastered with media photos of able "stars" on a on a daily basis foundation. We see Paris Hilton or Victoria Beckham with their obscene quantities of money living glamourous lives for doing no longer something. This in turns makes us experience that our lives lack magnitude and that we are preferable an inferior existence type to this and that if we've not got this type of existence type we are a "no person". some human beings even use the word "no person" while you're somebody who isn't in demand or prosperous that's a disgusting word to apply. each man or woman has their own little corner interior the international. Your job is to make that corner shine and to stay each 2d with great enthusiasm and to make absolutely everyone on your corner experience solid approximately themselves. you're specializing in issues that could desire to be performed, or you would be able to desire to get there formerly you would be chuffed or considerable. it is an insane thank you to stay. the base line is to stay thoroughly interior the present 2d and to no longer have self belief that your man or woman value is pertaining to to possesions or issues as those are impermanent and characteristic genuinely no longer something to do with who you're. while a man or woman is a skeleton rotting of their coffin what magnitude does fairly some money or a bentley have or a record contract? the respond is that those issues have no magnitude. existence will continually unfold interior the enjoying container of the present 2d and once you recognize this you may ultimately have the potential to withdraw from the present previous / destiny oriented melancholy which you're living in.

Only if I allow myself to be habitually unproductive. I make sure I stay involved within the community helping others and staying active. I also believe I was created with a purpose for a purpose so that gives me reassurance that my life is precious, priceless, and irreplaceable.

No. Even when I feel bad, I know there is something I can do to make things better in the world.

Yeah, chocolate is good. I listen to music I like too. Things that are constructive are good. Please, refrain from destructive things like drugs and alcohol. These things will only make things worse.
