Okay, my company is having an Xmas party and me and my boss would have to fly out for it (the home office is in another state). My b/f doesn't like my boss b/c of remarks that he's made to me and doesn't trust him. I don't think my company would fly out our spouses, so it would just be me and him....My b/f is not really telling me how he feels but he's acting indifferent towards. He probably doesn't trust me which sucks, but I really don't think he trusts my boss! Should I stay here or should I go out to the party? It would be for the whole weekend.

The universe must have had just one beginning, otherwise, by the 2nd law of thermo, we would not exist. Why? After an eternity, all matter and energy would be scattered throughout the universe. However, we do exist, and the universe is expanding.

Thus, as science has found, the universe had a beginning (Big Bang), and it could have only had 1 beginning, meaning, it cannot cycle, as per inflation theory, which already has been discounted.

Thus, what "caused" the universe to come into being, "suddenly"?

There are 2 general options: a creator (consciousness), or some unknown natural mechanism (mass and energy).

Though neither can be proven, a creator that is eternal consciousness "might" be uncaused. A materialistic mechanism still needs a cause to create a universe of mass and energy, and then that materialistic cause needs another cause, etc.

Just a while a go my guy and i broke up yeah i was devasted but right now i feel peaceful knowing that i stil love him very much, and not doing anything to get him back and i won't even try we haven't talked for a while but lately i have been having this feeling that someday will be together again i m starting to move on and though i might soon somehow i know one day will be together, has it ever happened to anyone and then u guys ended up being together for good or am i living in false hope and over working my imagination?

in regards to the teen either a) keeping/raising the baby, b) putting the baby up for adoption, c) teen's parents' adopting/caring for baby, or d) abortion. Not sure if there's laws on this topic or not? Who gets to decide what happens - the minor or the parents? I would HOPE that the teen and parents could work it out together and make a decision, but I'm sure that isn't always the case - just look at that recent couple from maine who tried to force their daugther to get an abortion.

On the fast track career-wise (although looking to cool it and get a little more "real" in my life) and long commutes to work. Our house is in process (a fixer upper small historical) and probably will never be "done". I'm not babycrazy, yet, I'm having feelings of really wanting to give to another little person that's all mine and my husband's. It's a decision that's huge and not one you can take back with a receipt. I'm terrified, but feel like I'll regret it if we don't try. I have feelings that I won't be crushed forever if we remain a childless couple (there are benefits to that my friends with children remind me of), so my question is... if I'm not babycrazy, but want a baby, is this right for me? Has anyone my age felt this way? You've gotten this far with your spouse, like your life, want to add to it, but wouldn't be broken if you didn't? Or are all parents-to-be out there on a single track about having kids and I'm just one of those people that shouldn't consider it?
