Teachers are encouraged to promote parental involvement but some parents just don't want to be involved. PTA meetings and teachers conferances seem to be two things that most parents hate. Why is this? How could teachers be persuaded to participate more often?

Seriously what do the people who are completely against the war that we are fighting in currently, want? We went into Afghanistan and Iraq to take out evil people who would kill us if they had the opportununity. So what are we going to do pull out of both Afghanistan and Iraq completely as if nothing ever happened and watch both countries fall into complete shambles and watch as they bot become overun by evil dictators and the countries end up being worse then before the war. We could all do that and take the Bill Clinton approach and do nothing because people wouldnt be dying in Iraq, but they would be dying over here. Face it people die in war its a horrible thing, but with the people we are dealing with we either attempt to finish them off and have some people die or we all sit back and watch the gretest country in the world falter and have attacks on our soil everyday and millions would die. I has sex but not all the way if you know what I mean. We did not finish, it was just the beginning and I was very wet. So I thought he was done, and that he had finished in me. Wich he said no that it was just me. But anyways... My period was suppossed to come on this month. On the 18, and we ( my ex and I) (yeah I know, I very sorry) had sex on the 13 of the same month but we did not go all the way through with the proccess becasue I got scared. So now, I haven't gotten a period, wich would mean that I'm pregnant from my current boyfriend. I went to get a preg. test and it was negative. So it means that I'm not pregnant from my current boyfriend. So whay havent I gotten a period. Could it be that I'm just so nervous, of what I did with my ex? Could I be NOW pregnant from my ex? He said that he did not finish, that I did not even give him time. So please help me out. I did not want to ask my Dr. Thanks so much.

I bought the game Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition as brand new & 100% original from Wal-Mart. But it was not working on my PS2 Slim. But last week I went to my cousin's home in Virginia & he has the old PS2(Fatter Version), i tried the game over there & it did work perfectly. On my PS2 slim it only goes till after the movie in the begining till the loading screen & keeps on loading & loading & loading. Dont actually know why it is not working. If anyone of you know what the problem is just let me know.

i have several moles all over my body, some of which are growing, some that just all of a sudden showed up. how can i tell if they are cancerous? what are the signs they are? i learned about it in school, but i've forgotten. i have an appointment to see a dermatologist next week, but i'm still scared, especially of the spot that jsut showed up! and yes, cancer runs in both sides of my family.

I was telling my friend about Buddhism and I mentioned the concept of the non-existence of self, and she kept saying that Buddhism does not teach this, that, quote: "Buddhism is not nihilism". Yet in many teachings this is mentioned, it is even part of the four noble truths. She is pitting me in a debate against a friend of hers who studies Buddhism, do you know of any teachings that I could use to defend this fundamental part of my beliefs?

I have a combi boiler. the pressure keeps going down every day despite filling. even when the pressure is ok i find that the water system does not work. the central heating works fine. there is no obvious leak. and no obvious build up of air in the system. can anyone help. can i fix the problem? thanks
