I need to know how long I will be out of work after cervical neck surgery for herniated disk?

I had a ruptured cervical disk and had it removed. They then shaved a piece of my hip and wedged it between the vertebra to maintain the space.

I missed 4 weeks and wore a cervical collar and had light duty for an additional three.

That was a year and a half ago, and wish I had done it sooner.

I had mine twelve years ago. I was out of work for two months, until the xray showed that the area was appropriately fused.
