Ok I've been asking hamster questions all day and doing my research and I'm finally having one tomorrow. But with all the research and planning in my head I'm stuck for names.

I will be getting a male and hopefully a syrian one. So any name suggestions, please?

Congrats on deciding to get yourself a little hammy they are lovely little pets (i currently have 5!)

I think its would be best to wait until you get your hamster to decide. the reason being I think their colouring and character play a bit part in pickin their names so wait until u meet the little fella and I bet a name comes to mind!

i.e my first hammy was called 'spidey' as he was like spider man has he climbed his cage walls lol so wait and see what the hamster u pick is like! Or u cud pick a name relating to their colour such as Choco (for a brown one)

Good luck picking ur new furry friend!

The cutest name I ever heard for a hamster was Tank because when you hear the name you expect some big dog or other large animal and in you come with this tiny hamster. Good luck

OMG!!!! My hamster is a chinese language dwarf hamster and he or she is gray with a easy stripe down her returned. The humorous element is her call is Cutie!!! i think of Cutie is a suitable call for all hamsters or perhaps nevertheless he's a boy and mine is a woman, Cutie for a attractiveness suits the two genders. sturdy good fortune!!!!!!

How sweet, we have 4 hamsters named Tarzan (an angora)because he climbs alot, Rex because he's a Rex Hamster and two golden hamsters girls Honey and Fudge. I prefer the males because they don't smell so bad.

I think P.J. is a nice name for a hamster. I don't know what P.J. stands for, I just like it.
