This is my question -

If a religious fundamentalist believes that homosexuality is a choice and also that it is unnatural, it may pose an ethics question for them later on...

If scientists are able to alter the hormonal chemistry or DNA of an unborn child to prevent the presence of "the gay gene" - would religious fundamentalists support this procedure?

Because anyone who supports this procedure would be then be admitting that
a) God makes mistakes
b) homosexuality is a natural occurance
c) doctors are authorized to "play God"

This question is not meant to offend anyone - no matter what their beliefs.... I really just want to know (if this became a reality) if fundamentalists would find it more pertinent to "tamper with nature to fit the book" or if they would "accept that God has his reasons and leave well enough alone"....

I am going to be a construction worker for halloween but dont know what shoes to wear. I kno real constuction workers just were nasty old boots but this is the only time a year that girl can get away dressing slutty. lol its not that slutty of an outfit but i need to find shoes. possibly heals. any ideas? please help only one more week!

I got a puppy yesterday. She is a lab mix around 12 weeks old or so. When i picked her out she was playful and all, now that I am home she has not shown any signs of that. She had lived outside since birth, but i am keepin her indoors. She is pretty much staying in a corner or behind my couch. Any ideas on how i can get her to not be so scared??

I was wondering when you all had your first ultrasounds?

I am 16wks - and my first one is scheduled next week. I have kept up doctors appointments and the likes, he just saw no need before this stage.

Did anyone else have their first scan this far along? Most books i've read say 12wks as the first one!

keep on touching my nose with my arms to warm it up... It's a very uncomfortable feeling but I don't know what else to do! It's always so cold in my classes!!!

I'd like to know what to do ESPECIALLY when it comes to my nose... That's usually what gets cold first.......

didnt call till the next day. we talked about this fight but never really resolved it. we finally broke up a mnth later. i tried talking to her about it and said that i will get better, and change, she just said that she doesnt have the desire to make it work and doesnt feel the same. she distanced herself from me because she was scared to get hurt like that again. i am sure she still cares for me, but right now she is trying to forget about me so she can move on. i sent flowers with a note saying how i felt about her. got no response until 3 days later, just a thank u online msg. i am not sure what to do now. should i talk to her again and tell her love her and assure her that iwill not hurt her again. we were in love while dating, but noone ever said it. i realized how much i really loved her after the break, but now i dunno what to do. i feel that if i push too hard to get her back, she will just distance herself even more, but also maybe she is waiting for me to show how i feel.

Well i am 13, and i have been having dizziness for the past year, My ENT told me that i have TMJ and i had a CT in April, i got an MRI last Friday i got an MRI, so tomorrow i am getting that test results back!!!
