dumbass me took my spark plug wire off, and forgot where they went, and i have gotten many of answers but a picture would help the most. i also need to know how GM numbered there engine. I have a 1989 V6 Camaro

Check out autozone.com, they should have your vechicle listed, with pictures too.

Go to the parts store and get a Chilton's! That way you will have pictures right in front of you to match up your application. They cost about $15! The best $15 you will ever spend. Right now you would have all your wires back on and not wasting time here with idiots that will more than likely give you the wrong answer anyway!

The right bank(left side when facing the engine is 1,3,5 from front to back and 2,4,6 on the other side front to back.

Firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6. The cap should have #1 marked and start with the 1 and work your way clockwise.

This is for the 2.8L V6(obviously)

All V6's are not all the same. Your Chevy parts dept or local parts store should have a reference book for you to check out for your exact engine model.

the firing orderis 18436572. looking from the back side of the motor with engine cover off <-----------------front side of cap #1 is to the front right go clockwise following firing order around the cap hope this helps and good luck

different on each size motor, get the Chilton book.
