I am gaining weight and getting bigger because I cant lay off the junk food. What should I do??!!

I've put this under a politics catagory because I'm one of the many who feel uneasy about the was Hollywood acts, I'd have put it under 'pillaging' if there was a catagory for it.

Did hollywood take this as an American story? Might not be a bad idea!
And how did Cage compare to Woodward? (was it Woodward?)

I have decided to get a master's in social work. My question is, how competitive is admission into these programs? Are they very competitive? I heard the GRE is not required, which is good because I am terrible in Math. Also, for anyone that is getting their MSW, are you happy with your choice?

people said I quoted out of context and Muslims are only supposed to oppose Christians and Jews who mock them. (actually, the text is quite ambiguous, imho)

but someone quoted this from the Quran:

[5:57] O you who believe, do not befriend those among the recipients of previous scripture who mock and ridicule your religion, nor shall you befriend the disbelievers. You shall reverence GOD, if you are really believers

...which reads to me that Muslims are not allowed to befriend atheists! Worrying, since I'm an atheist and I have a Muslim coworker who probably thinks I'm Christian!

Is it from the line of scrimage to the goal line plus 10 yards? The kicker can stand at any distence behind the line of scrimage so I don't think that counts.

I am 17 weeks pregnant and I am really showing. I have gained 2 lbs upto now and I am 5'0, weigh about 135. I do not have any cravings, I walk every day and eat very healthy. My sister-in-law said that it can be too much amniotic fluid. But my doctor has said that I am fine. I have the "big" ultrasound next Monday where they measure the baby. My sister-in-law is also due around the same day, but she is heavier...about 180 lbs and is not showing....is anyone else showing at 17 weeks????

Should Pro Wrestling be called Pro Wrestling?

Afterall an amateur Boxer that takes parts in the Olympics can turn 'Professional'. A Professional Boxer afterall is a Professional Boxer.

However, the term Professional Wrestling means the complete opposite to the likes of amateur Wrestling. Afterall... Pro Wrestling is todays term for a work, pre-determined matches like the WWE.

In fairness and realism, shouldnt Promotions like the WWE be refered to as "Professional Performance" or "Performance Wrestling"?

Shouldn't Professional Wrestling be the term for the 'real' Professional Wrestlers. The same connection to the likes of amateur Boxing and Professional Boxing?

I have my opinions of course.... but what are yours?

It shall be interesting to hear from other people and their opinions!!

i want to become a sports trainer and i want to work with professional football players and wrestlers, what does a sports trainer do? i was the team manager for my high school football team for three years and all i did was bring water and get the pre-wrap and tape when the coaches needed it, is it the same? how is it different?
