I applied for an office job, and they said I was well-qualified but the reason they didn't hire me is because I don't speak Spanish. HELLO!.....THIS IS THE U.S! Since when did it become a requirement to speak both English and Spanish to get a freakin' office job? I'm NOT racist, but I have to say that I think it's wrong to discriminate against me because I don't speak the language of ANOTHER COUNTRY.....I think that everyone who wants to live here in the U.S. should HAVE to learn English or go back where they came from.........

I think that i am about a month and a half pregnant and i still havent seen the doctor due to no insurance. i am waiting on medicaid to contact me for my interview, but anyways besides eating healthy, no smoking or drinking, what can i do to make sure my baby is healthy? Last night I cooked supper for my hubby. Now he normally talks about how good my cooking is. Yesterday it was spaghetti I decided to make from scratch. Normally it is a quick out of a jar sauce. Well I decided to make sauce from scratch. Aaron when he got home from work ate the spaghetti and all of a sudden "Wow, this is the best spaghetti I have tasted." It got a laugh out of me because normally he says this is good stuff. Now you have to picture a 30 year old man with not an inch of fat on him gobbling down 2 huge plates of food in less than 20 minutes. Anyway, my question is is there something that surprised you even though your spouse has done it for you good or bad.

As a former social worker, I have witnessed many families in these situations. People have children as an afterthought and continue to keep it that way after they are born. Sometimes they pop out kids like popcorn, continuing to ignore or care for them. These poor children never seem to get enough to eat nor proper care and attention. The social service agencies are so overwhelmed with the high number of these cases, they can only take a few of the worst cases away from these "parents." No places to put them any how. What to do ? How do you get through to them? I am afraid of making them too angry as they may take it out on those poor babies.
(By the way, I was just accused of being rude by confronting one of these idiots online. After bragging about how many kids they poped out, the usual response when you ask how they could possibly care for that many is it is none of your busniness. Of course it is all of our business. Do you think I should have done that? )

I want to start taking birth control now because I'm getting married this summer. My fiance doesn't want me to go on birth control because he's worried about the side effects. I tried a sample of Nuva ring that my doctor gave me and I was depressed all month, crying every night and getting hurt feelings over silly little things. He's also worried about possible long term effects like infertility when we do want to start having kids and birth defects, etc. He admits that he's paranoid and he has little evidence supporting his fears, but he's still "scared shitless" about the whole thing. Is there anywhere I can go online (someplace with a good reputation and cited information) that would have concrete stats and evidence to help him get over his fears? I really want to start birth control soon so that it is effective by the time we get married and I don't like the feeling that his fears are essentially in control of my body.

I am looking at getting one of these. I am in the military so I travel a lot. I play mostly sports games, matter of fact my first game I get will prob be Madden 07. I like the idea of the DS cause of the battery life (on 18 hour flights it would suck for the PSP battery to die after 6 hours) but I am also worried that the image of Madden 07 would suck on the DS and not having an analog control would also suck. How does the game look on the DS and are the controls easy to use even with out the analog stick.

if she can come with you to your hotel apartment room after you both finish drinking, you then decide that your "luck is in" and you excuse yourself and say you are going to the Toilet, leaving your drink unattended. On your return, your drink appears to have been disturbed ( its swirling ) and your Lady friend is smiling, what would you do next, go to your Hotel room with your new lady-friend or make exuses and leave the Bar without touching the drink ?
