I am looking at getting one of these. I am in the military so I travel a lot. I play mostly sports games, matter of fact my first game I get will prob be Madden 07. I like the idea of the DS cause of the battery life (on 18 hour flights it would suck for the PSP battery to die after 6 hours) but I am also worried that the image of Madden 07 would suck on the DS and not having an analog control would also suck. How does the game look on the DS and are the controls easy to use even with out the analog stick.

DS isnt really meant for playing sports games at all the graphics just arent good at all if your looking for a mario game or something like that buy a DS. madden on psp has controls that are very easy to get use to graphics are really good for a handheld system and if you are going to play online it is great. you have the truck stick in the psp version but nothing in the DS. if you have a psp and a ps2 you can transfer franchises back and forth. so i would go with the psp and you can buy a nyko case that charges your psp up to three times before you have to recharge the case and it also comes with speakers for movies and music. it costs around 60 dollars.

Madden on the DS is similar to Madden on Playstation 1.
Madden on PSP would be like that of the PS2.

If you want to check e mail and do yahoo answers on the go the PSP has an internet browser similar to internet explorer.

The DS has longer battery life and is more durable.
The PSP has a short battery life and is fragile.

I recommended the PSP cause I believe it would be more enjoyable, but the DS is pretty cool too.

For sports games, The PSP no doubt. The DS is designed more for games like mario and all that nintendo stuff. If your a sports game player, PSP for sure.

I have both. The psp is good but its not practical or portable its a nice little media device to have in your home. If you will be traveling although the ds may not have as sharp graphics it is miles better and offers a great range of game and the touch screen comes in handy and makes the possibilities endless.

I just bought the nitendo lite for my wife, but that's because of the games. The PSP doesn't have the type of games she likes to play.
