I mean have you noticed how many of us acts like one? Why can't we evolve from something more respectable, like lions or tigers or something like that?

Who said we evolved?
In fact monkeys evolved from humans

By the way, Darwin never said we evolved from monkeys, he said we have a common ancestor, which is very different

We didn't really evolve from monkeys, but anyway, I can't see why they're not respectable?

Maybe it's a male thing, wanting to be like lions and let the females do all the work. ;)

some people might jump around and act like a monkey or some other animal but look at it this way if we did evolve from monkeys (which I don't believe we did) but if we had who is smarter they live happy little lives don't pay rent and are not in debt for the rest of their lives. Be happy

Darwin said that we evolved form the same ancestor as the Chimpanzee. According to the Nasa website, the early ancestor of mammals was the hadrocodium . Classified as a new species, the newly discovered miniature mammal is the closest known relative to living mammals. It displays crucial mammalian features - a large brain and detached ear bones - yet it is forty million years older than any mammalian fossil previously found. Cool stuff.

We did not evolve from monkeys.

Humans and monkeys evolved from a common ancestor. This ancestor was most likely a small fruit and insect eating mammal and does not exist today.

We never evolved from monkeys, or chimps. We both share a common ancestor which from we evolved from. That's why our DNA is so similar, almost identical. We share the same characteristics such as walking upright, and having thumbs..

My suspicion is - especially after reading some of these questions - that monkeys evolved from us. Because monkeys could never be that stupid.

Actually, we didn't evolve from monkeys. Monkeys and Homo sapiens share a recent common ancestor (millions of years ago). This is a common misconception.

Lion and Tigers??? The LAST thing we need is ancestry derived from natures top predators. I think man is already unnecessarily aggressive.

Humans did not evolve from "monkeys" - humans and non-human primates such as monkeys, chimpanzees, gorillas, etc. have a common ancestor, i.e. we all came from that same ancestor.
