I don't think so. The transporter is supposed to disassemble all your atoms then put them back together again in exactly the right order. Therefore while you are being transported, you don't really exist. There was an episode of Star Trek Voyager where all telepaths abord the ship were being hidden from an alien race, whose space the ship had entered prohibited all telepaths. In order to hide them, the crew transported them then held them in suspension while a shipwide search was being conducted.

no in that 5 minutes your molecules would be scattered over space and time and they could actually hold you there in a suspended animated state until the buffer patterns of what your transporting started to degrade(star trek movie # 1 or 2).....God I'm such a nerd to know this!!!!LOL
