is this becuase it would be to much work to process them,,,,,i know so many illegal aliens that got pulled over after drinking and the police just let them slide when they saw the tennesse drivers liscence or the international one,,,they are here illegally and they can get away with driven like *******,,,what a crock they can't just give them a ticket,,,they would have to report them for being illegal plus if a officer reports a random illegal no matter what the situation he will be labled a racist in most towns and counties ,,so his carrer could suffer,,greatly,,,so it's a lose lose situation for the cop ,,,,does anybody else know about this situation,,,,any cops

We recently purchased an older home (built 1941) and there are several built in cabinets and a fireplace made of oak. The furniture came with the home, is antique and is the same color of the cabinets and the fireplace. It's an orange-ish looking wood and is hard to decorate around. I really do prefer the deeper, darker wood colors (so does my husband). Can I sand and restain the wood darker without worrying about ruining the wood? It's so old.

my boyfriend smokes weed and he says he is not addicted but i know he is. he never smokes around me and ive never seen him do it. he says hes quit for about a month now. i try not to pressure him to quit but he does know how i feel about it! although my GPA is far from perfect could I still go to school to be a lawer...Also how hard is it, how expensive and if you went to school even in the summer would it still take 7 years(is that possible to take summer classes) How could I pay for it...could I get a grant some how with that GPA...Does the perfessors help you if you ask for help after class..

I have been married for five months today. I think it was a big mistake. He lies a lot about everything. I have three kids from a previous marriage, he acts inappropriately around them (swearing, fighting with them). I've started to have feelings for someone who has been interested in me for a long time. This guy is amazing, he is everything that you could ask for in a man. I feel confused and don't know what to do. If I leave my marriage I want to know for sure that it's not because of this other guy. We've been getting lots of counselling, sometimes things seem better, other times they are back to the same old. What do I do????

I can't stop thinking about it, especially when I see a lot of men. I think about it all the time. Even when I'm doing something serious like a meeting at work. All I can do is nod my head and act like I'm listening-- but the entire time I am wondering what the man I'm talking to is like in bed. Is there something wrong with me? OK I wasn't sure where to ask this question, but everyone on all the parenting boards are very helpful :)

So I just had my baby 8 weeks ago and started on the patch and now I am hearing about even young women dying from blood clots caused by the estragen in the patch. It apparently has 60% more estragen than the pill. What do you know about this and is it serious enough that I should stop using them now, or can I at least use the ones I have before I switch?

My graph is'nt really looking right so just wondering if you guys get the same points i do:
y=2x^2-4x-1
And of course we are asked to fill in the x/y grid and plot the graph - so we have to put in -1 to the equation and +1 as x's value - just wondering what two numbers you get? I got -3 and 3?

I was helping a coworker dump a load on a fork lift. I was raised up to the top of big trash bin with the load,I pulled the lever on bin to release. F/L drvr tilted forks w/me still on it and shook bin against trash container.I scrambled for a place to secure m/self as he simotaneously backed away and lowerd forks as fast as it would go.As the forks came down,my foot got crushed in between the frame and a crossmember that supports telescoping part of lift. It severed b.toe and all the way /bone.Was Hosp.f/2 days have pins holding it together.Dr.isnt sure if he will h/2 amputate or not No one is certified to drv. F/L and I have been there for 1 month and safety isnt learned or posted anywhere I saw. Wrk.Comp.wont pay much and want to know if I can recieve a settlement and what this type of injury is worth.

I've dated several Viet guys and cannot understand why they always have problems sharing their feelings and thoughts. How the heck do they supposed that girls will know how they feel? It's like the pride thing and the "I-can-deal-with-it-myself" mentality. Then when it comes to doing something nice and romantic, it's like that word "romantic" doesn't even exist in their dictionary. BTW, I'm in my early 20's, so maybe I haven't met all you sensitive Vietnamese guys out there. I could be wrong, but I'm not trying to generalize. =)

this question is directed toward those who support capital punishment, if you dont then youre answer is automatically no. guy in ohio is a cult leader who received the death sentence for killing a family. the family of five "which included three children, were killed while they stood in a pit dug inside his barn in northeast Ohio."
so they want to give him the death penalty, but the guy claims he is *too fat* and that the execution would be too painful. it would be carried out by lethal injection by the way. he also claims to be diabetic, which i think is irrelavent.
should they punch his ticket or let him go with a life sentence?
