So for them preventing immoral sex is more important than saving babies? That's interesting....

Some Pro-Lifers are against birth control as they believe that sex should only be for procreation (having babies)

They may also feel that birth control promotes promiscuity.

Some are against anything that interrupts the sperm and the egg from uniting as they feel that is ending a life.

There are many reasons why.

I am pro-life and I use birth control. I do think that their are some questionable birth control methods however...some that can terminate a pregnancy that is already in process.

I would be curious to see where you get your statistics from. I think most pro-lifers are against abortion and meds. that cause abortions and not so much birth control pills or cycle planning.

Well, I am not Catholic, but you would have a problem with them on this one....
I do promote birth control. No woman should have sex without being on the pill AND using a condom. Men need to get over the whining about condoms and deal with it.
Most abortion are not because of rape. They are not because of incest. They are from people not taking responsibility for their actions.
If you choose to have unprotected sex, you also choose the possibility of a 40 week pregnancy and all that goes with it.
Abortion just makes women victims...makes us look too dumb to control our bodies and make responsible decisions. It doesn't make us stronger, just selfish.

Birth control is being responsible for your choice to be sexually active. Birth control should be (and is) widely available for those that CHOOSE to be responsible. An abortion is not a form of birth control. You don't "control" birth after the fact - after a life has been created. You want choice - take responsibility for your actions, and the consequences!

There is nothing pro-life about them. They have been against prenatal care for women since Cain and Abel, and that definitely saves childrens' lives, abortion prevented, and brings the babies to term. Their big issue is keeping women down.
