I shall be visiting family and San F'do this Novemeber with my wife. I look like a Trini, but not a local (no tan, man!) - my wife is fair skinned . We're both tattooed, young "alternative" looking types.. but not freaky looking or anything... will live in a pretty rough neighbourhood here at home and are pretty street smart (by North American standards..)

My family there - of course, worries about our safety - but they're old and protective and read too many of those trashy T+T tabloid newspapers..

We have lotsa family willing to take us on trips around to maybe P.O.S., Mayaro, Debe, Caroni and Pitch Lake, etc - but will we be ok taking little jaunts by oursleves via maxi-taxi from Vistabella to High St.? I would rather show my wife around Sando than Gulf City.. which is where I KNOW my relations will want to take us..

so what gives.. is crime as bad as they say? for foreigners??

My doctor suggested I take magnesium, vitamin E, B, and B6. I figure I'll just go ahead and take a multivitamin instead of having to take 4 different pills a day. I'm particularly interested in knowing the best LIQUID multivitamin....I hate swallowing pills. Thanks!

My lil sister (she is 17) just told me that she is pregnant. She found out by a test on tuesday. She had been taking birth control pills and told me that she had missed taking 3 and then stopped taking them. Her and her boyfriend was only using the withdrawl method. (I know it doesn't work always).

Besides herself, her boyfriend and me -No one else knows not even our mom. She is scared to tell our mom.

I told her she has options and that i am here for her but i can't help but to feel sorry for her. She still seems like that lil girl following me around, to me she dosen't seem 17. We are 10 years apart in age (I'm 27).
She was crying to me on the phone when she told me that she was pregnant and i feel helpless to her. She is still a baby herself.
I had my son when i was 21 ands i felt like i was too young but i have made it so far.

What can i tell her? How can i help her mentally? (She is depressed and so shocked) Should i help her tell our mom about it? No rude remarks!!!

Yes, there are many of us who would appreciate a few extra dollars in the bank. I know that I would like to be able to save more than what I currently am. What I don't get is the amount of people I see who claim not to be able to afford to put food on the table or buy clothes for their kids, yet they have a computer with internet service. God forbid I ever became that bad off, the computer would be sold, and the internet serivce shut off.

For my birthday 2 years ago,my live-in boyfriend gave me a signed, limited-edition painting by my favorite artist. When he gave it too me he said, its not just yours, its ours. Its never been framed and sits behind the couch where it won't get ruined. I'm in the process of moving out. Do I take the painting with me, without asking him about it? If I ask him, how do I ask him? It was a gift to me, so isn't it technically mine anyway?

I'm a college student and ever seen school began i have noticed that i have been receiving less sleep. at first i noticed very minor wrinkles appearing so i just ordered ROC eye with Retinol I believe. Should get here in a few days. The area around my eyes looks completly different than this summer. Now with puffiness and a tired look. Could this be the result of lack of sleep and can it be cured with enough nightly sleep?

I ask this cause at the same time college began my friends introduced me to weed and they do it about 2 times everyday. i've never been one to condone those activities but have done it about once a week, very minor. Could this be the cause of the look of my eyes and if so how do i cure it? I'm planning not to do it anymore.

i really want my eyes to look great again. I'm 18 years old and want this to go away. tips?!
