Media/Music Player formats?

Ok so I'm having a problem here.... How do you take your playlist from like Windows Media Player and change the format from like .wpv to like .mp3 or the more common ones so I can upload it to websites?!?!?! please help, I've been stumped over this one for a week...

You have to find a website which hosts mp3 files.. and it'll convert it for you.. good luck
