I have a Panasonic miniDV video camera. It can export the video via Firewire. I'd like to take my home movies and move them to the computer, and do some very light editing and then burn them to DVD.

Can you recommend a good video editing software to do this. My 3 criteria, in order of importance are:

1. Simple to use. I don't need a lot of features.
2. Cheap! Free being better.
3. Burns good quality video.

Shouldn't we stop immigration altogether?

I hear that U.S. population reached 300 millions. Why are we keep allowing people to immigrate to US? Isn't it a time to stop legal and illegal immigration altogether? Or at least put a measure so that if x number of US citizens immigrate to a country, then we only allow x number of people from that country to immigrate to US.

What does it mean if a guy gets upset with you for saying that you don't think he's ready to commit?

Basically i just said i know you're having fun being single and that's fine but i know you are not gonna be ready in two months for a commitment and he got mad about me saying it.Why?Is it cause i'm on to him or am i just bothering him cause i think i know what he feels but i really have no idea?
