You have the tabs within the same IE window meaning you don't have 20 different windows open to look at other websites.
You will be forced to do this anyway when the new release is final, as all browser integrations, apps websites will require the new IE 7.
An improved Pop up filter, a new phishing filter?, and easier to delete history.
Don't like the fact that you are stuck with the layout and cannot make it look like its predecessor else it is quite good and I prefer it to Mozilla firefox

I downloaded it on the work's pc but it cocked up the mail merging in Word so deleted it again. I now run Firefox and think it is much better than Internet Explorer. IE7 is only really catching up with it's competitors, ie Firefox and Opera by all accounts, and I thought it had nothing exceptional to offer.

i became an identical way, yet ultimately desperate to enhance to IE7 for fairly some the recent advantageous properties, which contain the tabbed interface. I have been given used to it after a on an identical time as. yet another determination is to maintain IE6 and deploy Firefox for the tabbed interface and a few of that's different functional advantageous properties in order that which you have an determination browser to IE. quicker or later you will in all probability be forced by ability of MS to enhance yet no reason to provide up pre-maturely in case you do no longer prefer to. ;-) p.s. i understand there are skins for Firefox, i'm uncertain approximately IE7. looks such as you would be comfortable with upgrading to IE7 in case you are able to desire to maintain the fewer complicated / cleanser look of IE6.

I'd recommend against it. IE7 is less compatible with websites than firefox at the moment
(the most compatible browser being IE6)
The features are nice on it though. tabbed browsing and better security features. I'm on Vista now though, so it makes sense. I shan't be getting IE7 on my XP machine for quite a while

Latest "security" upgrades from Microsoft - works like a charm in XP with no complaints and I installed IE7 today.

I recommend against it. When Microsoft has completed the BETA program, then you know that they have worked "THE BUGS" out. That's when I would consider upgrading to it.
I've seen IE7 and don't see any real advantage.
Good luck

Yes. I love the multiple-tab feature. Also, there are several security enhancements. It takes a bit more horsepower to run, but it's very sweet.

yes, it's better, easy to upgrade too, takes a wee while to get used to the slightly different layout, most of it is pretty intuitive though.
