I recent moved to DC area and Due to my job I can't hang out with the people I work with. Due to the lifestyle here and my age group. most people are married have kids or busy working two three jobs. I'm a single guy with no kids, and I still getting on my feet. But I need to get out and be social.

i have always gotten the impression that suicide is worse than homaside. is that true? i really dont see how people seem to think me saying i will kill some one is worse then saying i will kill my self. many people who know me say i am too nice to kill, but really i have a strong urge to kill and a small want to comit suicide. so how is suicede worse when i am more likely to kill some one else rather than my self...what is worse?

Well, that may be true, but, unfortunately, it's a war, the military is voluntary, and the soldiers are proud to be there.

Now, i'd really like you libs to stop quoting death numbers to make your case, because, as I just showed you, it makes you look foolish.

Take up another cause, like stopping murders in california.

I got asked to play a role in a short film being made by the graduate students at my college. In the scene, I have to embrace/make out with my 'mistress'. I haven't met this girl yet, and I'm normally a tech guy- not an actor. My question is for the actors- how should I approach this? When the director says cut, should I keep kissing for the sake of continuity, or just immediately break off? I don't want this person to think I think they're gross (they probably aren't), and I don't want them to think I'm a wierdo, either. Any tips for pretending with somebody you don't know?

I know drugs don't cure all people's depression, but if they did help people, then surely that just proves depression is just an "imblance of chemicals" in your brain. So technically you're not really sad,- its just this "imbalance?"
