any woman who has an abortion is very selfish and only thinking about herself. there are no excuses! rape, financial problems, the father doesn't want it,my parents will kill me,i'm not ready blah, blah,blah. these are excuses for them to give to convince themselves it's ok. you can get over rape, you can get help from the government, you can give it up for adoption. it amazes me how many actually say they could not live with themselves if they had the baby and gave it up for adoption. but they don't have a hard time living with themseles after killing it. there is something terribly wrong with these women and it has nothing to do with the baby.

have any of you ever given up a child for adoption? it is very hard! you have this thing growing inside of you and feel it move for 9 months and hear the heart beat and become attatched to it and see how you would do when it came time to have the baby taken from you. it wouldn't be right. it is a personal choice that only the woman can make. and no one has any business judging her for what she does. everybody makes choices in their life that they may regret but you know what, people learn from their mistakes. and if they don't then that is their own problem. and it is not a baby until after the first trimester. no heart beats, no movements, no nothing. there are a lot of reasons to have one, try the fact that they were raped or they are too young, which i agree if you are too young to have a baby then you shouldn't have sex, but there are certain circumstances but whatever the reason, there are certain situations that make a woman or girl want to have an abortion. so everybody needs to but out with all this pro life bull crap because it isn't a baby yet!!!!

Well the reasons that i can think of are:
Some women can't afford to have a kid...
I heard somewhere that it costs about one million dollars to raise a kid until its 18.
Also some women might not even be women when they get pregnet. They might be really young girls like 13 or 14.
And some women just plain out might not want kids.
Its sad that there are so many abortions but think about it this way if there wern't so many abortions imagine the population overflow we would have.

Financial reasons, age, living conditions, fear of parents, fear of friends, or maybe it was the result of pills or condoms failing. There are any numbers of reasons and they are all important to the person having to make that decision. It is not easy I am sure. I don't think it should be used as birth control, but I also believe it is a personal choice that NO ONE else can make except the woman involved.

Well, personally I do not believe in abortions. Even if a 13 year old gets pregnant, or something I think that they should have the baby. It's not right to kill a baby, it's not there fault what happened. You can always give it up for adoption but you don't have to kill a innocent baby.

Some are scared to have a baby and some use it as a form of birth control which is really sad. There are a million reasons why they do it

because they couldn't choose if they got raped. It's sad but it's true. I would prefer a woman chose adoption, but if they had no control over it then yes i can see why

Because they are cowards
Because they can't own up to their own irresponsibility
Because they don't know or care that there are so many people in this world who try and try to have a baby and can't...I would take someones unwanted child in a minute....

some women are very selfish and ignorant... If the weren't ready to have a child then they should not be having sex whether it is protected or not... having sex protected or not you are testing the waters... MOST WOMEN HAVE NOT GOTTEN THAT THROUGH THEIR HEADS!!!

There are countless reasons, fear of pain in childbirth, financial, reputation,parental repercussions etc.
