The following is a telephone exchange between a hotel guest and room-service, at a hotel in Asia, which was recorded and published in the Far East Economic Review:
Room Service (RS): "Morrin. Roon sirbees."
Guest (G): "Sorry, I thought I dialed room-service."
RS: "Rye..Roon sirbees..morrin! Jewish to oddor sunteen??"
G: "Uh..yes..I'd like some bacon and eggs."
RS: "Ow July den?"
G: "What??"
RS: "Ow July den?...pryed, boyud, poochd?"
G : "Oh, the eggs! How do I like them? Sorry, scrambled please."
RS: "Ow July dee baykem? Crease?"
G: "Crisp will be fine."
RS : "Hokay. An Sahn toes?"
G: "What?"
RS:"An toes. July Sahn toes?"
G: "I don't think so."
RS: "No? Judo wan sahn toes??"
G: "I feel really bad about this, but I don't know what 'judo wan sahn toes' means."
RS: "Toes! Toes!...Why jew don juan toes? Ow bow Anglish moppin we bodder?"
G: "English muffin!! I've got it! You were saying 'Toast.' Fine. Yes, an English muffin will be fine."
RS: "We bodder?"
G: "No...just put the bodder on the side."
RS: "Wad?"
G: "I mean butter...just put it on the side."
RS: "Copy?"
G: "Excuse me?"
RS: "Copy...tea...meel?"
G: "Yes. Coffee, please, and that's all."
RS: "One Minnie. Scramah egg, crease baykem, Anglish moppin we bodder on sigh and copy....rye??"
G: "Whatever you say."
RS: "Tenjewberrymuds."
G : "You're very welcome."

My boyfriend went to pick a friend up from a park where the friend played basketball at. As soon as he got there within 2 mins the police pulled them over. They firsked him for search and then started to search the rest of his car without a warrant. My boyfriend never consented for them to search his car he even told him they couldn't search his car without a warrant and they still did it anyway. Unfortunatly his so called "friend" put a package of cocaine underneath my boyfriend's passenger's seat. Since it was my boyfriend car and the friend pleaded not guilty but boyfriend felt he had to choice but to plead guilty before the court tries to find him guilt and punish him more for it. Is there any way or how can he fight this case. Can he say it was illegal and why, and what statements do we use.

My daughter’s father hasn't seen her for over 2 years, I know he loves her and her biggest wish is to see him & for him to come here to see her in her environment, with her friends… since the other 3 times was me taking her to him. (he lives several states away) We'd been planning on them (both him and his wife) to come here for her birthday... more than anything she wants him here for it... I had said I would try to help... His wife a week ago told me they would definitely be able to buy at least 1 ticket… well, when I said I couldn't help due to bills both he & her were aware of the situation, and even though they fully know I'm not a threat...He's not coming... A week ago had money for a ticket, now no? he was really edgy telling me.....I don't know... What I do know this is the 3rd time of him trying telling me one way or another he was going to be here for our daughter, and he doesn't come through....

I recently found out my boyfriend is telling my cousin boyfriend all the personal things that go on in our household. My cousin boyfriend Scott tells my cousin. Now i found out through her he is sharing personal things with her. I am so embarrassed and hurt. The reason why is because i have asked him not to talk about our business to him on several occasion. Example: He told Scott that my daughter was evicted from her apartment, He told Scott we got in a fight and about some money we got in an argument about. I found all this out through my cousin. I feel i can not trust him now. I feel betrayed. Please help me out on this one.

The basic problem in our league is what to do with one owner who has not done anything with his team since our draft. The commisioner put his starting line up in for him and has been filling in his byes for him, but the rest of the league wasn't really aware of it. We have talked to the owner and he says it is because he doesn't have internet access at home (I know, but nobody thought to ask when he said he wanted to play ). One suggestion is to bench his entire team and create a defacto bye week, another is to drop all his players back to the free agent market (and figure out how to make his players available in a fair manner), and another is to use the yahoo reccomended roster each week. We as a league can't seem to agree on what to do. The player in queston's team is 1-5 and all but out of playoff picture already. Any suggestions?

I am officially "too old" to trick or treat.... 18 years old! :) But my friends and I all went throughout most of high school. Has anyone else done that?

It makes me want to offer to take some little kids around the block just so I can go, haha. So what age do you think is the cut off? 10? 16? Never?
