Oh yes, great question...!
But near impossible to address. Might've been easier to ponder the "worst" bar in the entire world...!
Unreservedly, for me, it is a tie between the best three bars ever. Well, the best so far. There's still a lot of bar life to live:
First has to be "Jeff's" just north of Kota Kinabalu in North Borneo. I've been there twice after long, sweaty, treks dangling at the end of LandRover winch wires, squelching through deep mud, sheltering beneath giant monsoon fronds, tending scorpion stings, nursing Orang Utan.
Sometimes dreamlike. Other times nightmarish. Always scented and sensual adventure.
And then, the penultimate, "Jeff's Bar".
A wonderland of talc washing Sabahans, Kadazans and Dusans
plotting freedom from the Malaysia yolk, keeping abreast of Muslim pirates, semi worshiping the kaleidoscope Horneybill.
Jeff, a jolly and rotund host who travels with a jungle chest of
single malt and Australian beer is a super raconteur, a tremendous host who remembers your name from the first time you met him and makes you feel at home despite the glitz and glaring disco surroundings and the "special" area where he has unaccountably introduced dancing on carpet.
There is no comparison. Not even with the infamous Hard Rock Cafe bar across the South China Sea in crowded Kuala Lumpur.
Perhaps the second equal first tie for world's best bar is a little further at the pirate port of Sandakhan where the curiously named "Yacht Club" offers genuine and spirited fun.
This is on a par with the third tie best bar in the whole world, Australia's Northern Territory Darwin Peninsula "Yacht Club" where you can drink non-stop, enjoy the most magnificent shellfish cuisine, the more egalitarian camaraderie, the beer and wine tastes like only Aussie liquor tastes.
Heavenly...!
And if you remain standing or seated or dancing in the same spot there you can watch the sun rise and set in an arc 180 degrees around you.
Ah, but..... for present responsibility, there would I be, at one or all of the three.

The best bar in the world is liquid in Luxembourg. Depending on the night it can be an intimate jazz bar or a hedonistic tribute to sin but the drinks are always first class and the staff are the same. The river views help in the summer and the cellar feel does the same in winter. The crowd is diverse and never boring and the staff all know exactly what you want, sometimes before you do. Which, lets face it, after a tough day can be a big help.

The Night Train in Adelaide.
I'm not actually old enough to drink so i have never had alcohol here but i went there to see the show. You go to the Night Train, when you get there you go through a horror tunnel. It is Sooooo Freaky! But really fun and exciting and such an adrenaline rush. It is really dark and people grab you. Once you are through there, you go buy a drink and watch a show. The show is sort of like a horror/comedy. Then, you get a meal during the interval. Usually Dinner time. Then they sing great Aussie songs and it is soooo funny. And You can just simply party once the show is over. its great fun and NOT expensive. So That is why the NIGHT TRAIN is the best Bar in the World! :)

Hi Allison, firstly All Saints is the only show I watch on TV. Love it!!!!!
Now , to your questions. I was up at a place called New Norscia on the week end in W.A. . There is a nice hotel where I stayed it was built in 1883. Very old. Downstairs there is a bar. It is really old infact the Monks own it. The atmosphere is really great with good old Aussie country people who are friendly to everyone. There were farmers , shearers and it was a lot different and very interesting than being in a bar in the city. I loved this place, it was history of the place plus the real Aussie ocker language that I enjoyed.
Thank you, for this question. Kim

Any Bar Which Had You Standing Next To It Would Rate As The Best In The World For Just That Reason. An Irish Bar On The Rocks With Live Music On St. Patrick's Day Would Make The Picture Perfect.
God Bless You For Asking.

Any bar in the world is good as long as it has a TV for Tuesday nights so I can watch All Saints! I think the bar down the road is the best it looks cozy. Or there is the local milk bar - it's pretty good!

The best bar in the world was THE BIG TICKET on Hindley Street, Adelaide. It was upstairs and quite trendy back in the day when Hindley Street was more well known for its brawls than its nightclubs! If you couldn't get in past the fussy bouncer, you could sneak in through the adjoining pool hall if you knew your way around! This was fantastic given the fact I was only 17 at the time (Only fake ID) But unfortunately it closed down about 10 years ago...pity!

The best bar in the world is The Royal Oak Pub in Whittle-le-Woods Lancs England. Why?... cos its full of the most interesting ppl. Also a huge reputation for having the best of all beer, mainly due to the underground cellar. Apart from being a local, it is frequented by popular TV stars. It is very small, situated in a terrace of stone cottages. in a small village. Roger the licencee is an institution, a one off. Lost his licence once for serving after time, but reinstated due to huge petition signed by ppl
