With all the scandals and stuff going on, and the War in Iraq. I view it very hard for the Repubicans to keep hold of the Congress in the coming weeks, and esp, The White House, in '08.
What are your thoughts?

oh i wouldn't concern myself too much. with Diebold voting machines owned and operated by major GOP contributors being so easily hacked (no paper trail either) and so many voting districts gerrymandered in favor of Republicans there's still a good chance that Republicans can keep their filthy corruption covered foot firmly on the neck of America.

There will always be scandals, but the occasion is rare when a president goes to war on false pretenses. His buddies circled the wagons and protected him...but with Foley, and all else, I hope the dems take control, and I hope they impeach old GW.

I have to agree - it's really thrilling for me to watch the republicans hang themselves like this. I just hope the Democrats can go a whole three weeks without doing anything incredibly stupid....

You bet your sweet bibbie that they are in trouble. All their raving, ranting and disinformation campaigns will not be worth the proverbial plug nickle after mid term elections.

Control comes and goes in phases. If they lose it, they will regain it later when people get tired of whatever happens.
