Dontcha just get annoyed when you ask a question about alcohol and people who dont drink answer the question just to be self rightuous?

Yes I do. I think it should be a violation. It happens in other questions too.

Answer: I don't eat meat.

Oppinions from both sides of the fence could be helpful. Some people don't drink but know from experience from friends or family and could still be very helpful to you.
