i suffer from the following and have all my life .

The only reason this has come to my attention is because my son is exactly the same and they think he has ADHD ???
ATTENTION SYMPTOMS

Fail to give close attention to detail
Struggle to sustain attention to tasks
Lose things necessary for tasks or activities (e.g. books, tools, files)
Have difficulty in organising tasks or activities
Avoid, dislike or reluctantly engage in tasks that require sustained mental effort
Seem not to be listening when spoken to directly
Forgetful during routine daily tasks
Easily distracted

HYPERACTIVITY AND IMPULSIVITY

Fidget with hands or feet or move around a lot when seated
Feel restless or agitated
Is "on the go" or often acts as if "driven by a motor"
Talk excessively
Have difficulty awaiting turn (e.g. In a queue)
Interrupt or intrudes on others (e.g. Interrupts in conversations)
